A question about my RPR reservation
Last week I booked a standard 2 Queen room with Royal Pacific with my Annual Pass rate. The reservation confirmation that came to my email from Lowes says Standard 2 Queen. However, when I go check the reservation on the Lowe's site logged in to my Youfirst account it says 2 Queen Waterview.
I am guessing because on this trip we qualify for an upgrade with our YouFirst status? The only part that is confusing me is that I know those are subject to availability so I am surprised it's listed on the reservation already. Any insight? |

Loews YouFirst program states you need two qualifying stays before you move up the the blue status.
so if you stayed last year and again plan to stay onsite, that would be 2 stays. the third stay bumps you up to blue status. if your stay last year was for 5 nights, you would have received credit for 2 stays.

came back to add that you can call reservations to make sure you did get the upgrade without the additional cost.
there are times when the hotel occupancy is low and people do receive free upgrades from garden views to water views. sometimes the loews site doesn't make sense. some say they were held to the rules and others say opposite.

This will be our third qualifying stay in a year so we do qualify. I was just surprised to see the upgrade already listed because I thought I had to wait until check in to see if there was anything available.
Thanks for your reply

Does it state that you are blue status? If so, that is usually the case that you have to wait until check in to see if there is any availability for an upgrade. Looks like you got lucky!
