I get sad reading this post. I love to travel and see the world, just never have enough time or money doing what I want to do.
I have been to: China US Japan Thailand Bahamas St. Marteen (Not to sure how to count, half Dutch/half French?) I hope to accomplish Mexico and Canada in next 3 years. One or two european countries in next 5 or 8 years. |

France
Monaco Italy Austria Germany (have to admit just an airport stop in Frankfurt) Greece Ireland Russia Ukraine Mexico Canada Israel Caribbean countries: Montserrat (technically British); British Virgin Islands; Aruba & Curacao (I believe they are the same country but could be wrong); Guadeloupe (French?); St. Martin (both sides-two countries); Dominican Republic; St. Lucia (I am sure I am missing some) We were supposed to go to Japan this summer but due to a really unstable family situation that has been put on indefinite hold.  ETA: I knew I forgot some Islands: Jamaica and Bahamas. ETA: Dang it...forgot Spain too.

I have not traveled as much as I would like. I end up going back to the USA a lot. So far:
Barbados (home) St. Lucia St. Vincent Grenada Dominica Republic of Trinidad and Tobago USA (and Puerto Rico) Canada England France Austria In the near future I need to go to Mexico for work, but have no plans to go anywhere else soon. It just costs too much. At least with the USA or Canada I can get there using our airmiles. Yes technically I can use airmiles to go to Europe too, but I find the taxes cost prohibitive for a family of 5.

I only listed countries I've spent time in. Not the ones I did a fly by. Aruba Bahamas Canada France Italy Jamaica Mexico Portugal Trinidad U.S. Venezula St Thomas/Barts & Puerrto Rico I did not count because they are some type of US commonwealth.

Only 3 - USA, Canada, and Mexico - but I am young yet.
Someday I hope to have the time and money to travel overseas. ETA: DH was born in the USA but was an Army Brat, I believe they spent some time in Europe, specifically Germany, when he was a child. His mom says he spoke German as a toddler, but then lost it. Then he joined the USMC out of high school, and has been to Iraq, Kuwait, and Egypt (the "airport" version). He was supposed to go to Japan when the 1st Gulf War broke out, and his orders got changed. He always says he really would have preferred Japan.
