JCPenney - Great Customer Service
In January I paid my Penneys bill, always pay it in full so there is no interest. A couple weeks later I made a purchase at the store, and paid by check as I didn't want a credit card bill coming while we were on vacation as I knew the bill would be due February 8th, and we wouldn't be home yet.
So, when we got home and picked up our mail at the post office there was a bill from Penneys. I couldn't imagine why. Opened it and it was for DH's shoes we bought December 16th. I didn't expect that, and knew they would probably tack on the $35 late fee on next month's bill. I sent them a check for the shoes and enclosed a note explaining the situation. Yesterday I received another bill from them, past due (they probably passed each other in the mail) which included the late fee. So this morning I got on-line to check my account and was happy to see they had refunded the late fee and were only charging me $1.22 for the interest. ![]() Sent a check out for that amount and a THANK YOU for taking the late fee off. I appreciated it and wanted to share my great customer service story since we mostly just hear that bad ones.

You should give credit to GE Captial for the great service since they manage the JCP card and make any descisions like that.
