Daniel: The helicopter flew them back to the island. When they landed, the two got out, and rather than go through all of those doors, Daniel linked his arm around River's as best as he could and teleported inside. He and River appeared in the kitchen, and Daniel looked around, setting the coffees he was holding down. Toby was looking upset about something, the Professor looked mildly disappointed, and Max was in the corner, looking like the side of Max with no emotions. "Did we miss something?

Max: Max looked up as River and Daniel appeard. She bet River would be disappointed in her lack of socializing, but Max had broken her rules, and her rules were the most important things to Max. Her rules were her survival guide.

River: "apparently" she grabbed her coffee and Max's coffee and walked over to Max. She handed her her coffee and sat down across from her. "here you go, are you okay, what happened?" she asked with care in her eyes.

Max: Max took her coffee and spoke in a low voice so she wouldn't be overheard. "Thanks. Yeah, I'm fine. I just broke the number 1 rule I have for myself, and now Toby's over there thinking I'm upset with him when I'm not, I just know when to stop myself and I didn't like the way he cared too much about his appearance. Oh, and the professor's all upset with me because I told her it wasn't my choice whether to act out or not." She then took a drink of coffee and waited for River's reply.

Daniel: Daniel pulled out a chair and sat down next to Toby. "Hey man," Daniel said. "Mind if I sit here?"

Nate: Nate finished in the kitchen and walked into the dining room. Seeing Daniel and Toby, Nate sat down beside them. "We have to wake up way to early."

Margo: Margo wasn't sure were to sit. The guys were all together, so she made her way over to River and Max. She wasn't sure if Max liked her, or anyone for that matter, but decided to sit there anyway. "Hi, River, Max." Margo smiled shyly.

Max: "Nah, it's okay. Not being understood is kind of part of that number 1 rule. I'm breaking it even now. That's because it's 'Never get close to anyone'. " This part was accidentally a little louder, so if anyone was actually trying to hear what they were saying, they'd hear Max.

Margo: Margo hadn't heard much about their conversation, but knew she had walked in at a bad time by their concerned faces. This made her feel embarrassed. "Oops, I forgot my drink." Margo got up and went to the kitchen, pouring herself some orange juice.

Margo: Margo walked back in to hear the announcement. She sat back down.

Nate: "Parent's night. That could be interesting." Nate said, thinking about what he knew about the parents.

River: River nodded. "just yourself" she thought picturing Max in front if the computer screen the night before. She may have said it out loud had Margo not been there. "oh no" River said when she heard the announcement. it wasn't that she didn't want her grandma to see the school, and she really wanted to see her grandma. But now when she saw her grandma she would have to let her know she knew everything about her parents.

Toby: Toby looked up at the professor when he heard the announcement, he knew that when his parents would come they would expect him to have become an entirely new person, but in truth he hadn't felt he had changed at all. He loved his parents but he wasn't pleased to be sent to this school in the first place no matter how great they told him it was.

Amelia: Amelia made her way down to the kitchen after everyone else had, and she was in the middle of making a piece of toast when she heard the professor's announcement. She straightend and sucked in her breath. Unless the professor had read her mind, Amelia didn't think she knew that she had no parents. How was she going to explain that? Amelia's toast popped up, and she grabbed it. She put some jam on it, and contemplated wether or not to just stay here an eat, or go into the dining room with everyone else. She decided to go into the other room. She walked in and saw everyone there, including the professor. She didn't know where she should sit. She saw Max, River, and Margo sitting together, and the boys sitting together. She thought it would be weird to go and sit by herself, so she made her way over to where the girls were sitting. She sat down, keeping her eyes fixed on the table.

Margo: "Hi, Amelia," Margo said as Amelia sat down. She realized Amelia was the person here she knew the least. "How are you?" It was a pretty dull question, but at least it was a safe way to start a conversation.

Max: Max grew selfconcious. She was no longer alone. And she couldn't look away, because then she'd be looking at the boys, and she would not look at them. She hoped neither Amelia nor Margo had heard her.
