Welcome to February!!!

Hope everyone is doing well this morning and staying warm...
We finally got a call this morning about 6am that we have a 2 hour delay.. Must have had to get up and confirm the news was actually right we'd be in double digit negative windchills.. So, my boys are still resting but I am wide awake...


I paid off a credit card this morning! That's 2 goals meet so far this year!!!


So, today.. the wind chills are pitiful.. there is a 2 hour school delay.. sn*w to come in for the weekend and I need to run to town for some items... So what could have been done by 11am... will now be done I hope by 1pm...

So,

get myself ready
get boys up
get boys to school (DS16 isn't driving today because of slick roads DH took his car instead of the truck)
to town for errands
home and put things away
pay bills
lunch
try to scrap 4 pags ~~~ on hold, I had to stop by tire store cause a light came on... got back with about 30 minutes to spare in picking up boys!
pick up boys
drop DS16 off at work
home for homework/dinner prep
DS16 has my car will drive home from work himself
dinner
Dh and DS16 might to go to the game.. (we shall see)..

I'm so glad it is FRIDAY!!!!

OK made another pymt to Disney - I couln't figure out how to do it online so I called, gotta figure that out before DH pays his part, he is paying with a bonus which is why we got to add a few more days
then I'll owe anther $500 so it is nice to see the light of a bill (a fun bill but a bill anyways)

OK gotta get ready for work - hoping to get things straighten up again - I think that is going to be a Friday project for the whole semester - why are people so messy??? guess because they know someone else will pick up after them

want to update my new chart then glue more on Belle & Beast - Mrs Potts & chip & Gaston - Lummure & Clocksworth are done (sp??) but wondering if I need more of them - don't have a LO for their play in HS have to see if boys will behave for that or not

Busy day and weekend ahead. Hope the weather holds out so we can get it all accomplished.

Take youngest DS and his family recipe and (caramel apple dip and apples) If you haven't tried this.....its totally addicting!

My guys at work are running a live intruder drill at the schools today - my phones will be ringing off the hook from parents wanting to know what is going on. Starts at 9:45 and my head hurts already just thinking about it!
Home to get DS from bus
To my parents house tonight - mom is cooking dinner!

Saturday:
Cub scout science day at the mall. We had planned a whole day around it and then my SIL called last night to say my nephew's party is saturday. Really.....could you wait a little longer to tell us! Did his birthday just sneak up on you this year when you weren't expecting it? I say we drop a gift off on our way home from our scheduled plans. DH says we need to re-arrange our schedule. We will hafta see who wins this battle.

I'm at work. Feeling a bit overwhelmed because I have been asked to come back in for a "formal" interview and computer testing and a typing test. Then the following week, they may want me to meet with the department. I'm very very happy!

This weekend - Saturday, I'm going to see Les Mis and out to lunch with my sister and Morgan. Need to run to Kohl's and get a white tee to wear under the red sweater I bought for my next interview.

Sunday, I will have to do my grocery shopping, since Tuesday may be spent in the city. DH is going to a friend's to watch the game. He's disappointed that we don't have a horse in the race, but they do enjoy getting together. Morgan and I plan to watch the Puppy Bowl.

My head is stuffy! I hate it when people send visibly, severly sick kids to school. We had one at preschool Monday. I spent a lot of time following her and wiping things down. Yuck!

Jen - that is great news about another interview next week! Keeping my fingers crossed for ya

Been deliberating these past two days about the meds the derm wants to put me on. Do I really want to take them? They seem to do more damage than healing the psoraisis! Nausea, vomiting, gradual hair loss, abnormal liver function, no immune system, NO ALCOHOL (love my wine!), no over the counter meds like aspirin, ibuprofen, cold or allergy meds. Lord know what happens if I get an infection! I also have to get blood work every six weeks to make sure there is no liver damage. That and there is no guarantee it will work, the chances are high at 75% but still!!

I have been talking to my sisters and my BFF who, thank god, is a doctor and they think I should try a more natural route for 6 months. Natural meaning an strict anti-inflammatory diet. I am overweight, as in 100lbs+, lord knows I must be inflamed already, haha! BFF thinks my chances with the diet are just the same as the meds, even better, because I will lose weight. It will be alot of work, I will have to eliminate processed foods but this path seems like a no brainer compared to the other!

Sooo, my journey will begin today - I gotta do this!!!

Today hasn't been too bad. Boss let me leave an hour early. Phone calls are done, just waiting to hear back from one person. Hopefully it is a quiet weekend so I can recharge before the madness of next week! I am out every night due to meetings and appointments, I think my family may start putting a limit on my volunteering soon....
