First Time at Disneyland this July
We are finally going to DL the last week of July. I was supposed to go last October but I ended up in the hospital with blood clots. So... we are going to try this again. My husband did end up going without me (didn't want to waste the plane ticket) and he loved it and definitely wanted to take me and the kids back.
We have been doing our research and we are going to book Paradise Pier Concierge with park view so we can see WOC from our room (just in case our DD is tired, she tends to go to bed early so I am worried about the time difference - we are from Orlando). I know that DL is going to be a shock to me since I have been a loyal WDW person my entire life but I cannot wait to experience it. If there are any particular pointers or things that I shouldn't miss, please let me know. I am thinking of surprisng our son with the "walk in Walt's shoes" tour on his birthday which will happen while we're there.

Congrats! You will have tons of fun! I'd recommend posting this in the Disneyland (California) forum, you'll get more answers to this kind of question in there!
