Has anyone been to the Water Parks this week? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Saw that Typhoon Lagoon is closed.

We are hoping to spend some time at water parks next week. Was hoping that this could be a break from the crowds at the parks - but didn't realize that Typhoon Lagoon would be closed.

Was wondering about the crowds at Blizzard Beach

Its normal for one of the water parks to be closed during the January - mid-February timeframe for maintenance. They stagger the closings so one water park will be open weather permitting.

Crowds are generally light in January.. for those from the southern climates its 'too cold' for a waterpark..

And for the rest of us nuts, it's a great time to go to a waterpark .. provided it's not even too cold for us!

I believe that Blizzard was closed due to forecasted low temperatures at least one day this week.
