We were planning to go to DL for C2C anyway, but a 10k too! Sweet!!!

10k is really my favorite distance, and since DH and DD will probably do the 5k and I have to be up that early anyway......

More medals!!! Hurray!

I'm in! I wish the 5k was about 15 mins ealier or they'd show course maps so we could judge whether or not we could get to the 10k quick enough after the 5k, but that's alright. I'll just monitor the 5k reg. So much for trying to save race $ next year for NYC Marathon, if they ever figure out what they're doing next year!

Now if we could get a mini TOT race out here too...

So far, they have only changed it once. The 2010 C2C had the year dangling from the bottom of the medal. Now, it is just incorporated into the ribbon. So, yes, they do look the same, but I just love the partners statue.

Well crap!! I really want to do this but DL sells out quickly and I doubt I will have enough $$ to pay for it at that time. Especially since I tend to drop $$ at the WDW marathon weekend expo. GRRR!

Must figure out way to do this and have another vacation.....

Goofy = 3
Dumbo Double Dare = 3
C2C = 1
four races, seven medals!

If you wanted to get crazy (ha!) you could do Dopey and the DL 5k (if you can swing it and the 10k, which seems up for debate based on the timing) for six races, nine medals

I am so tempted to do this. I loved being at DL in 2009, but training for a half marathon through the Texas summer does not appeal to me at all. Now a 10k, OTOH, seems very doable, and it's an inaugural year

This I can foresee being a problem for me too. I am in Disney the week that this goes on sale, so I will have to curb my disney spending.

How quickly do you think this will sell out?

I think the DL half this year (2012) sold out in 35 days. Less than 6 weeks for sure.

Looking at the response, I have a feeling this "Dumbo Double Dare" is going to sell out VERY quickly. Hopefully I can sign up at the expo!

I so hope I can figure out the budget to make this happen! I don't know if I'll ever be able to tackle the Goofy, but this is definitely doable! I'll already have my C2C with Tink and Princess, but this sounds too awesome to pass up. Wish airfare from the east coast wasn't so dang expensive...

I was going to DL to get my C2C in 2013 so now I will make sure to register for the Dumbo at the expo! Wow! Do the Goofy then the Dumbo and earn 7 medals! Mind=Blown!

I will be poor but rich in Disney memories!
