Restaurant High Chair Cover?
Has anyone found a cover for restaurant high chairs that they like (not necessarily for DW)? We had a Fisher Price one, and I guess it worked OK, but I was wondering if there's something out there I'm missing. DH is a germophobe, and honestly, those high chairs can be pretty icky, so we like something that covers the seat and the sides and fits most high chairs.
Thanks! |

My boys are in their late 20's and early 30's now but I remember those restaraunt high chairs and how filthy they were. You would think that with steam cleaners that they would be cleaner but they still are germy sticky messes.
I bought a high chair for my son's that hooked right onto the table. It had bars that stuck out from the chair on the bottom and top. I used it in every place I went, from the nicer place to Mc D's and never had a problem. Of course I never walked away with him in the chair, but it never tipped the table. I even had one to used in my own house. The chair folded about the size of those little step stools, hardly took any room in the trunk of my car. they make them much smaller and lighter than the ones I used to have. they work on any table either regular or at a booth. I felt safer when I could put mine on the table with the booth under my son but they don't tip even on regular tables. Hoping this link works: http://www.highchairs.com/Chicco-Caddy-Hook-On.pro this one looks really nice. http://www.amazon.com/Regalo-Diner-P.../dp/B0000A1O7P

I bought my granddaughter one from here. www.nanasbuggybuddies.com. I really like it. It is big enough to cover highchairs and shopping carts. Hope that helps.

We also bought our own little portable highchair that straps to a regular chair. LOVED IT.
If we forgot it, I always carry chlorox wipes in the little packets and used them on public highchairs, then put a highchair table mat on, we got them at Babies R Us. |

I am another one that carried Clorox wipes and a booster seat with an attachable tray.
The Clorox wipes are good not only for the high chair - but for the table itself. Unless there is a tablecloth - chances are the table is filthy as well. |

When dd was little, I used a booster seat from home or the fisher price cart cover thing. Now with ds, I always carry antibacterial wipes with me and just give the chair a good cleaning.

We had a previous model of this one. It has hooks that you can use to put toys on, pockets & a detachable sippy tether (genius!) We ended up passing it along to a friend who is still using it 4 years after we bought it.

I saw this one on Shark Tank and plan on getting one for my daughter's baby that is due in May. It can be used in so many ways and it folds up real small.
