Cool pics, thanks for posting. I love the behind the scene shots of splash mountain. My FIL broke down on that ride about 5 years ago. He was on the incline and unable to get out of the boat at that angle (he can only transfer to and from a wheelchair). He had to sit there a couple of hours but Disney gave him a free dinner. What is it with that ride????

Yes, the fight with Mimi and that lady was embarrasing....I mean, the CM was basically standing at the end of our row, almost yelling that they needed to move to the end of the row. Of course, they didn't listen. So, we were going to step over them. The woman stomped on Mimi's foot, then decided to move, so Mimi punched her in the butt. Not the finest moment I have had in Disney, that's for sure. Glad you missed it?

Also, my first trip to Disney, I was 4. And scared of mostly everything. Not sure there was a lot of complaining...just whining...you can relate to that, right?

Going home. My REAL home.

We headed out of the Magic Kingdom and got in line for a boat. Sadly, we JUST missed one and we would have to wait. I might’ve had a temper tantrum because I wanted to be home RIGHT THEN. Home was so close, yet so far away. I could just swim right across Bay Lake, but that probably wouldn’t be the right thing to do.

Instead, I sat there, eating some of those awesome Mickey shaped gold fish. I remember sitting there eating some, so I must have picked some up in the emporium. I have awesome notes, I know.

Pretty soon, a boat arrived.

We got on and with the wind, it was very chilly. And of course I sat outside while Mum and Mimi sat inside. And let me tell you, our boat DID NOT sound good.

And my butt vibrated the whole time from the motor or something.

High quality notes I take, I know.

And then all of a sudden, we got to my house.

I was on cloud nine at this point.

I basically ran inside once Mum held my hand since I am a small child and I can’t get off the boat by myself.

I’m dead serious.

So back to my house…

We went inside, past Roaring Forks, and I started to see all of the Christmas decorations.

HOLY.

CRAP.



Then I basically pooped my pants when we got into the lobby.

I was in shock.

I was dead.

On the floor of my house.

Right next to the new furniture they put by the pin trading booth.

This was the reason why.






I was BLOWN AWAY. I mean, you already have the most INCREDIBLE lobby. Then you add this GIANT, BEAUTIMOUS (Honey Boo Boo reference if you have no clue) Christmas tree. Like, how could you not expect guests to be dead all over your lobby floor because of this tree?!

And let me tell you, my pictures do NOT do justice.

At all.

You guys have to see it for yourselves.

Anywho, after I awoke from fainting because of The Tree, we went over to check in. Excuse me, ONLINE check in, DUH.

And let me tell you, our CM was NO Connie. She was such a poop and had like no personality.

And if you have zero clue who Connie is, she is the most awesome CM ever who works at my house.

And you are probably wondering why I hired Ms. Poopy Pants to work at my house.

I can’t tell you the answer to that.

After we got our KTTW cards, and such, we made our way over to the VILLAS.

HI DEERS. THANK YOU FOR WATCHING MY HOUSE WHILE I WAS GONE.

Of course I know the way around my house, so I lead the way down to our VILLA.

Even the VILLAS lobby was decked out with a mini version of The Tree!


I don’t remember which VILLA we were in, but it was SO close to the one we had in August.

Our home for the next two nights.










Why don’t the VILLAS have the awesome showers yet? ): I mean, come on! I thought I told the manager (my BFF) that the showers need to get updated!


We then looked for the pillows for Mimi for the pull out couch, but none were found. Ok then… I mean, usually they are in the closet.

You would think I would know where extra pillows are in MY OWN HOUSE.

So Mum called, and it sent her to like the main mousekeeping building, if there is such a thing.

But then our phone started ringing like two minutes later and it was someone who worked at my house.

She said the new pull out couches are different and the pillows are inside in two little pockets.

We opened up the bed and there they were!

And plus it was already made!

Seeee, they knew I was lazy.

Pretty soon, our bags arrived.

I was glued to the TV watching my idol.

But then I heard we were heading back to the Magic Kingdom, so I turned the TV off and skipped back to the beautiful lobby.

We stopped at the pin booth before heading to boats and I bought one of the limited edition Christmas pins they had for each resort. The WL one has Chip and Dale on it and it is so cute! I love it.

We headed down to the boat and one was JUST getting there. THANK GOD.

Let me tell ya, it was SO cold on the boat. Oh my GOD. I wrapped up in my sweatshirt and cuddled up against my mother.

I live in New England by the way.

I should be used to the cold.

Yeaaahhhh…

Before I knew it, we were back at my second house.

Once we got into MK, I called Jackie and they were on the train. She was also whining because it was so cold. What else is new!

Then I stopped dead in my tracks.

I'm dead right now. Why you ask? Cinderella's Castle.

YES. YES. YES.

I was dead on Main Street for the 5th time that day.

EMTs had to rush to save me. So I could recover, they brought me into the Confectionary to look at food. Food helps everything.

I WANT YOUR JOB.


They have the best trees in there.


I was all recovered, so we headed back onto Main Street. CROWDED Main Street. Lovely.

The line for Casey’s was out the door. People were on the pavement because a stroller ran them over. It was CRAZINESS.

But I mean, we weren’t staying on Main Street. Which is a good and a bad thing.

We just got closer to my castle and I died even more.






I can’t even begin to tell you guys how beautiful Cinderella’s Castle is with the dream lights. It is BREATHTAKING.

In result of the amazingness that was in front of me, I died again, but the smell of food made everything better, so…

We headed to Cosmic Ray’s instead to grab something to eat.

Mimi and I got in one of the bays to get some chicken nuggets and fries since we are both five. Mum went to another bay to get a burger.

Once we both got our food, we found a table by Sonny Eclipse aka the world’s most annoying…thing. I don’t even know what he is.


Here are my chicken nuggets that tasted so good.


I called Seth to tell him where we were and they were right near Cosmic Ray’s, home of the toppings bar and some creepy monster.

They had dinner there earlier so they knew exactly where we were.

They found us near Weird Monster and we talked for a little while. And Troy ate some of my french fries. Of course.

And Jackie sat there the whole time, SHIVERING. She was wrapped up in a blanket they bought. So ridiculous.

“The other people (minus one)” were all tired, so they wanted to get going. (By the way, they took a cab this night).

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY.

We said bye and I was trying not to scream because I was so happy they were leaving.

So it was just the three of us.

And there was one place where I wanted to go.

Only one.

After YEARS of waiting, it was time.

Since we are stuck in a blizzard that is named after a fish right now, I thought "Why not post an update while I cry because I miss Disney so much?"

NEW FANTASYLAND PART 1

This is what I posted on Twitter at this moment during our wonderful trip:
WE ARE GOING TO NEW FANTASYLAND OMG

Guys, if you haven’t seen New Fantasyland, please don’t just die in front of your computers right now because of its awesomeness.

I think I died this night well over 1000 times. There was just too much amazingness to handle.

So, let’s go on with this update, and let me tell you, I took A TON of pictures this night, so this will be in two updates. You have been warned.

And seriously, I think this was the best night of our whole trip. So you guys will actually have an update without ranting for once!

Well I can’t make you any promises…

And y’all are probably going nuts right now because I haven’t posted any pictures or anything.

I WILL SHUT UP NOW.

WELL I WILL STOP TYPING, ACTUALLY.

So, we made our way past the Mad Tea Party, and into the “old” part of Fantasyland.

Then I saw the castle walls.

AND DIED.

The end.

Before I died however, I got these pictures.




They are blurry because I was on the ground at this point trying not to die because I wanted to see New Fantasyland. So the EMTs came back, huffing, and puffing, because they had to help me again. WELL I’M SORRY DISNEY JUST DOES THIS TO ME.

So you guys are probably wondering how I am writing this puppy.

I CAME BACK FROM THE DEAD.

Ok, we are moving on now…

So we went through the castle walls, and I saw Beast’s castle. I mean, OF COURSE I have seen it before, but not this close!

Then we headed over to the gift shop. The name totally escapes me right now…

It is actually called Bonjour! Village Gifts.

(THANK YOU DISNEY PARKS BLOG. AND GOOGLE).

So we browsed in there for a little bit and they had some really nice stuff!

I LOVED this plate/glasses/etc. set. It was so pretty!



Other than those two pictures, they had shirts, pins (I’m SHOCKED I didn’t get any! I will in August though), picture frames, etc. It is a little on the smaller side, but they had a ton of great stuff. Not like the stuff you would find in the Emporium though or something. It was ALL themed for New Fantasyland.

Then we went over to Gaston’s Tavern.

They have a sign outside saying what they have. And I wanted to take a picture with it because I find it hysterical they serve shanks there. Don’t ask me why. I think it is like the most hysterical word ever. I have no clue. I always say to Meeko (my CAT. We don’t have a pet raccoon) “Oh, Meeko, you have SUCH a furry shank!” I’m weird, I know. I am pretty sure an animal’s shank is their upper thigh, but I think it sounds like the butt.

I’m ridiculous.

So after I took that crazy picture, we headed inside and I got in the imaginary line for some Le Fou’s Brew! Mum said I didn’t need the souvenir cup. Just like she always says I don’t need more stuffed animals, which is one big fat LIE.

I mean, with the cup and the drink, it would’ve been 10 bucks. And Mum thought that wasn’t worth it. So I just got the regular plastic cup to make her happy.


It was really good, I have to say! The only problem was that it was SOOOOO sweet. I mean, I drank it anyways. And plus it was REALLY cold this night. I think it would be great for a hot summer day instead.




So many amazing details in there! And there are a lot of antlers everywhere. I WONDER WHY…

I drank my brew down to Under the Sea with the Little Mermaid. Or whatever the crap it is called. It’s like a long name.

We stood there for a little bit while I drank my brew and became really cold. I also admired the construction they are doing on the Mine Train. HOLY CRAP it is going to be incredible. Since we have been there, they have done a lot more work on it. And plus you can peek through the wall! That is pretty cool if I say so myself.

I didn’t finish all of my drink since I was FREEZING, so we got in line for the Little Mermaid, which had a 10 minute wait, but it was actually a walk on.





I wanted to take a lot of pictures of the queue because it is INCREDIBLE but we weren’t stopped (since it was a walk on) and I was trying to get out of line a lot. Sometimes, I WANT there to be a wait so I can take pictures of the queues.

There is a GIANT mural behind the loading area that is amazing.


I sat by myself in one clamshell and then Mum and Mimi sat in one together. And the clamshells are just like the ones at The Seas with Nemo and his awesome pals.

And pretty soon, we were under the sea!

And then we got stopped.

Of course…

“HEY WHAT’S THIS?! WE HAVE COME TO A STOP! MAYBEEEE it’s that SEA WITCH!”
That would be Sebastian coming over the loud speaker. We heard A LOT.

We were in the Under the Sea part, which is an awesome room! It has bright colors, awesome fishes, Ariel, AND Sebastian!



Hi there blurry Sebastian!




We started to go and Sebastian came over the speaker and said “And now you will start IMMEDIATELY!” And the way he said “IMMEDIATELY!” cracked me up. It was so funny!

Then our clamshells stopped. GREATTTT.

Sebastian make his little announcement.

We were still in the Under the Sea part.

And this lasted for like 5 minutes.

I don’t understand why they tell you to not dance. IT’S YOUR FAULT WE GOT STUCK IN THE UNDER THE SEA PART SO I CAN’T HELP BUT DANCE.


We started up again.

“IMMMEDIATELY!”

And then we got stuck in the next room with the evil sea witch.

3RD TIME GUYS.





Ursula didn’t steal my voice (THANK GOD) while we were stuck there.

Thank GOD this was our last time getting stuck. I don’t know what the deal was but I guess this is happening a lot lately.



YIPPEEE THEY ARE MARRIED YIPPEEE!

King Triton has some serious abs. And a beard.

I enjoyed the ride very much, I have to say. It is the exact same thing as in DCA, but it is still awesome. If we just didn’t get stuck so much…

Then we headed outside.

And Wishes was starting.

Then I died some more.

And, yes. You will have to wait for the next update. I am way too lazy to write it right now.

Is the blizzard a good thing or a bad thing ?? I live in the South were even an inch of snow shuts the whole state down for a day or two and everyone runs to the store to buy up all of the eggs, milk and bread. So they can all have french toast, I guess. I grew up in Iowa, so I always find this very amusing.

I just love the New Fantasyland. We got to see it on our Thanksgiving trip and we went on a day that it wasn't that crowded. When we went in January, it was so packed, you couldn't see anything through all of the people.

Ummm…A bad thing! I mean, we got more than TWO FEET of snow!

New Fantasyland is INCREDIBLE. The night we went wasn’t crowded at all.

It tastes a lot like apple juice. The foam on the top is really good too! I would try it in the summer if I were you.

NEW FANTASYLAND PART 2

We headed outside after we got done with our very long adventure under the sea.

Wishes was going on.

And I was dead for the 500th time that night.

Then we ran over to the rock wall near Beast’s Castle to get a better view. There was NO ONE over there.






Watching Wishes from New Fantasyland is my new favorite place. Oh my GOD. It was like the show was made for New Fantasyland. The way the fireworks go off look perfect behind Gaston’s and the Beast’s Castle. It was pure magic.
If you want a non-crowded spot and you don’t like waiting, WATCH WISHES FROM NEW FANTASYLAND. It is not congested back there with people and then you don’t have to deal with the Main Street rush.

The end of Wishes was still going on when we got in line for Enchanted Tales with Belle aka THE BEST PART OF MY NIGHT.



There was a 30 minute wait, but that was fine with me. I was SO excited to experience something new. OF COURSE I had seen videos and heard stuff about it, but it is NOT the same at all.

The shutters on Maurice’s cottage are perfect.


Pretty soon we got inside and it was SO detailed in there, which led me to go NUTS, DUH. I mean, my awesome readers know me when it comes to Disney details.

I didn’t get many good pictures in there because it is a small room and there were many people in there.

Kids were climbing all over this table. And their parents didn’t say anything. I just stood there and rolled my eyes. Oh wait. That is what I do anyways.

Pretty soon we were lead into the next room. If you don’t know (or haven’t been to Enchanted Tales), the first room is a waiting room, and then you go into a second room where a CM talks to you, the third room is where you get your part, and the final room is where you perform for Belle.

And if you have no clue what Enchanted Tales is, it is like a little show guests put on for Belle, reenacting the movie in like 10 minutes. It is a “surprise” for Belle. I don’t even know why it is a surprise. I wonder if it is like her birthday or something. They don’t even tell you…

So we were lead into the next room like I was saying. Our group all squished together and a CM told us how we were putting on a show for Belle, etc, etc.

Also he pointed out some of Maurice’s inventions.





***SPOILER ALERT***

Oh, and you see that mirror there?

We went through that mirror.

Imagineering at its best, people.

I swear to GOD, this in one of the most AMAZING things Imagineers have EVER done.

I basically stood there in AWE.

So Maurice uses this mirror to visit Belle anytime he would like to in the Beast’s Castle.

And he was letting us use the mirror.

And I died for 501st time that night.

THIS is a good video if you haven’t seen the most amazing thing the Imagineers have ever done.

DISNEY MAGIC, PEOPLE, DISNEY MAGIC.

TAKE THAT UNIVERSAL. IN YO FACE!

And I’m done now.

***SPOILER ALERT OVER***

So then we “magically” appeared in front of the wardrobe.

And she started talking.

And then I died for the 502nd time that night.

HOLY CRAPPPPPPOLA.

This is the SECOND most amazing thing the Imagineers have ever done.

Then she said “BONJOUR!!!” And I replied. And I COULDN’T BELIEVE I WAS TALKING TO A WARDROBE. I LOVE YOU DISNEY OMG.

Then our CM said that we were going to start picking the people to be in the show!

I wanted a part, if it was the last thing I was gonna do.

So you have to “audition” for a part.

First off was one of the suits of armor, since two people get picked for this part. And you had to be big and strong for this role aka NOT ME.

So you had to march for this role.

And then the CM came up to me and handed me my cardboard cutout thing of a suit in armor cause I marched so well.

I WAS DEAD ON THE GROUND.

I couldn’t believe it.

I was going to be a suit in armor in a show for a surprise.

FOR A DISNEY PRINCESS.

I couldn’t breathe.

I felt like it was all a dream.

And I didn’t realize I was big and strong.

Would that be an insult?

I DIDN’T CARE BECAUSE I WAS GOING TO BE IN A SURPRISE SHOW FOR BELLE AKA MY THIRD FAVORITE PRINCESS.

I had waited all my life for this moment.

I AM NOT JOKING.

So I stood right next to the wardrobe and was jumping up and down. (I am not joking about that part.)

I WAS READY.

(it is blurry because Mum doesn’t know how to take a picture. Or I was jumping up and down so much…)

After everyone was casted, we were lead into the next room.

There are benches for the losers who didn’t do well in the auditions—sorry Mum and Mimi—and then all of the cool dudes are shown where to go. Most of the people sat on the floor to wait for their turns, while the other suit in armor and I had to stand against a column.

If you are wondering, there are two CMs that show you what to do. And the CM telling me what to do was kinda cute, but that’s another story…

So Lumiere (yes LUMIERE, but we will get to him in a moment), calls Belle in and then everyone yells “SURPRISE!!!!!”

And then Belle comes in and is like “OMG FOR MOI?!”

Yes, she says those EXACT words. She says moi cause she is from France, DUH. And in all of the latest books she is reading, people say OMG cause that is the cool thing to say instead of oh my god.

So yeah, Lumiere tells the story and everyone “acts” their parts out.

And speaking of Lumiere, HE IS AN AUDIO ANIMATRONIC.

HE IS INCREDIBLE.

I couldn’t really see him from where I was, but afterwards, I was blown away when I got a glimpse at him.

So throughout the show, I had to march while everyone else (well the ones who had parts) marched with Belle to Be Our Guest (the song, not the restaurant.)

I also had to screech when the Beast first met Belle. Cute CM told me to screech and I was looking at him like “what? Screech?” “Yeah screech!” “ok…”
I sounded like an idiot but it was so much fun!

After the show wrapped up, everyone took a bow, Belle took pictures with us, and then she said goodbye.

The other suit in armor (she isn’t big and strong either), Belle, and moi.

When we were leaving, I got a bookmark and a cool photopass card that had Belle on it, since I was a cool dude and had an awesome part.

Seriously, if you don’t make time to do this, there is something wrong with you. It was one of the most amazing experiences I have EVER had at Disney. Seriously, I was dead throughout the whole thing because of its amazingness. I was BLOWN away. The Imagineers did an INCREDIBLE job on this attraction and I thank them so much.

I was on cloud nice at this point.

I didn’t want to leave AT ALL.

But we had to since the park was closing shortly.

We headed towards Main Street.

We got to Town Square and I was like “there is only a five minute wait to meet Mickey! Let’s go meet him!”

So we did.



There was NO ONE in line. There was only like one person. WORKS FOR ME.

I wonder if there is cash in there…


Mickey was only there. NOT LIKE THAT MATTERED. Minnie is usually there with him, but she must’ve had a rough day.

We had a quick, but lovely meeting with Mickey. A perfect way to end our night ♥

Town Square was empty. The park was closing. So we had to head out, sadly.

We took a bus back to my house because it was SO cold. I really did not feel like going on a boat.

A bus was waiting there and we had a pleasant, WARM ride back to heaven.

Once we got back to the VILLAS, we forgot our room number. So I went around to a bunch of different doors trying to open them and looked like a complete FREAK. It would help if I wrote down these things…

Finally, I found ours and threw my stuff everywhere.

Mimi and I headed to Roaring Forks to fill our mugs and I got a brownie down there. It was like eleven thirty and I was hungry. Oh wait, that is like every night…

I left my camera back in our VILLA so no food porn, SORRY.

I can’t remember if the brownie was good or not. All I remember was that I was on cloud nine and I was EXHAUSTED.

We got back to our VILLA (the RIGHT one) and got ready for bed.

Tonight was incredible. I don't even know what to say. Actually I can say that Disney went above and beyond with New Fantasyland.

I headed to bed at about 12:15 and dreamt of New Fantasyland. At that point, I didn’t know I would be going back that day, for an amazing… well I won’t spoil it for you guys…
