The bounceback in the room is only for a package with tickets and free dining. We have ap's so we dont neerd that. Hence, we are not booking anything before we leave, sorry Disney. You have to come up with something better to get my money.

Room issues: upon arrival, the wooden door to the refrig was broken. Dh fixed it with his nail clipper.

Dh walked to the bathroom with his socks. Noticed his socks were wet. Outside carpet by bathroom was wet. This did not happen again.

We go to turn the tv on at night. Nothing, zip, nada etc. Dh determines someone has disconeted the whole tv behind the panel. He fixed and reconnects everything.

I go to take shower. What is up with this. After I am already in the shower I notice we have 2 conditioners and no shampoo. That was only the first day.

Housekeeping is good and we got our request of near the elevator.

I miss our Teena. Sorry the young guy just doesnt cut it for me and the older guy is ok, but they are not our Teena.

Well I will do my lobby spotting over the week end. Rumors on the other boards are One Direction. We shall see. I am not too familiar with the teeny bopper celebs as you know from my Justin Bieber sighting last year.

Ate at Cape May last night. It was ok. I love the desserts. The soup was squash and the mac and cheese was not cheesy. Dh was in crab leg heaven.

I was @ Cape May last night too a first for me. I was pleasantly surprised. I've been @ the GF for a few nights and check in to the YC tomorrow. The wifi is no better here, but the room has had no issues which is a good thing as I can't imagine trying to hook up the TV in the room, if I'd gotten your room I'd be on a first name basis w/ maintenance!
I'm looking forward to the move over to the YC but I've really enjoyed my time at the GF. The weather tues and today has been fabulous.

The first thing I did when I woke up this morning was stumble to the computer and log into the official Disneyworld site so that it could tell me "1 day until my vacation!"

Of course, considering that we leave in less than 24 hours and I have yet to pull out the suitcases...I should be less excited. I should also not be on the DIS!!

Have you stayed the YC? I really love it!
They are so different.

I requested the same room we had in November (the photo I posted). Not sure we will be pixie dusted 2x.

What ever you do bring extra underwear. Somebody is bound to forget that and their bathing suit.. Another good thing to pack is your cell phone charger, camera charger, a charger for the chargers charger AND one of those multi-pronged ground fault extension cord rectangles. I found one with a looong cord and 8 plug spaces that are turned in different directions because some of those chargers have big old funky plugs and they take over the other plug spots.

Every time we go anywhere there is always just one plug in the room, behind the bed headboard and under a box spring. The skinniest member in the family gets the prize of crawling amongst the mummified Cheerios and jumbo dust bunnies to plug our bad boy charger in. The good news is that this also serves as our bed bug check because the plug is guaranteed to be located in an area so remote that that is where the bed bugs go to die. You can tell they are bed bugs by the inscriptions on their little tombstones. Anything ending with the name "Bug" is a bed bug burial plot. For example if you see "Fred Bug" then you know that's one. "Ringo Beetle" would be an example of a bug grave site that is not a bed bug burial location. FYI

I'm also taking a roll of quarters or 3 for the laundry. I figure Tom Collins will let me charge my laundry room drinks to my room key. I also plan on bringing dollar bills in case Tom decides to do a little dance and help me fluff and fold. What goes on in the laundry room stays in the laundry room.... right???

I'd also let you know that we are taking our refillable mugs, but that is illegal, so we would never do that. Nope, we got $14.99 dollars worth of soda out of those tiny little mugs the last time so they are just making the trip for old times sake. They'll stay in the luggage with the dirty laundry where they can reflect on what a tremendous value they actually were on the last trip.

The other thing we take that comes in handy is a night light, but since we will have a small lighted tree in our room that will be the night light. One year we forgot the night light and we tried to use those light up glow cubes that come with the kids drinks. Well THAT didn't work so now we just leave one permanently in the suit case and we are good to go.

So Steph, it's good that you are "wasting time" on the Dis boards when your plane leaves in like 5 minutes and you STILL are not packed. look at all the tips you picked up from old NM~

We haven't stayed at either BC or YC, but are looking forward to it!!! I even considered a split stay between BC and then YC CL...kind of silly I know, but then I'd be able to try both.

Pressure....DH tells me today "I have been watching lots of YouTube videos of the rooms and pool at Beach Club....do what you have to do to get us there."

First PSA regarding the pool... The sandy bottom and quick changing shallow areas with no sand can stumble you up and damage a pedicure! Or a blister or hurt foot. dH just had foot surgery and I of course love a fresh pedicure before a trip and we both snagged our feet.

H2O products are no longer the blue one, but a grapefruit one that is much less luxurious. Oh and I was relying on using their products ... Housekeeping didn't leave us a new set today.

The aloe and clover scent at the beach club is just as refreshing as I hoped! Anyone have a link to getting something for the home to match? The company I was led to before seemed more like for hotel or very large home.

The walk from beach club to Hollywood studios seemed like a couple miles and took us 30 min... We thought we'd better just head over as there was no boat, and the boat near us by far. This isn't easy walking. Like I said, dh is just recovering from foot surgery. I would not walk it again unless I had to.

DisneyLAND is our home park, so of course everything seems like so much walking and so far away. And we are also used to be able to eat where we want relatively easy.

Our first day after flying from Seattle all day. We just wanted to check in, upgrade our annual passes to both parks and eat dinner. Then bed.... Thursday night, and everything was 1 hour wait. We didn't eat until 9... Ridiculous.... You should be able to easily dine at your resort!

Good thing the brown derby made up for that today!
