It could be true, but I honestly haven't seen much hype around Doc Mcstuffins, and Sophia JUST came out... anything is possible, and when it comes to a live children's show like this, updating it to match what their watching is the right way to go. I must say though, I am growing tired of hearing Handy Manny while I go to the bathroom at Brown Derby.

My 4 yr old is obsessed with Doc. I've heard more than once while at Toys R Us from employees that her stuff flies off shelves.
I don't get why Disney Jr has been so slow in introducing new characters in the parks when Disney can have movie characters like Wreck It Ralph right away.

I could see doc, but not Sofia. That just aired and I don't think there is enough of a following yet. Plus I do think that would make it too girly. I can see doc and jake, though.

Doc and Jake make sense. My 3 year old boy LOVES both. He was a perfect subject to the 2 months of marketing for Sophia and dutifully asked to watch but lost interest in about 4 minutes. Can't say that I blame him. I thought Sophia was pretty boring too.
It seems that all his little friends, both boys and girls, like Doc. Disney has been pretty slow putting out Doc merchandise though. |

I don't think it would be to girlie Doc is not a girlie show. It just stars a girl. Sofia is girlie but she also broke rating records for Disney so she is very popular.

I can't believe how much the little ones I know love Sofia and Doc. I read a bit of whats coming up with Sofia and I think its going to be very popular even just due to bringing in all the princesses from the other movies. My daughter keeps asking when she's going to see Ariel.

Not too girlie! My three year old little boy loves them both. He actually asked me the other day, "Can I see Sofia at disneyworld?" I don't tell him, "that's a girl show or that's a boy show" I let him decide what he likes.

This would be heaven for my 2 and 1/2 yr old. She loves Doc and Princess Foseah (her pronunciation).
