I'm new to the boards. I just registered for the half through HsuBu Travel via the runDisney Tour Operator Program. Has anyone had experience with this, is it legit? I would assume since it is listed under Preferred Tour Operators on the Run Disney website?

I would like to think that the RunDisney website would only have links to the legit tour operators. But one can only have confirmation in hand an move forward.

Jumping into this thread! I just finished the Princess last weekend (my first Disney race) and I'm registered for the DL Half to earn my Coast to Coast!
I'll be doing the Half and DH is going to run the 10K.

What time would one need to post in a 10 to move past the 2:45 cut off? Need a goal for myself!

Play around with this race predictor. It is a little different depending on age and sex.

This will be our first runDisney event on the west coast. What are the corrals like compared to the WDW races? How many corrals are there and any idea of the paces in each one? Thanks!!

Last year the corrals were A-G and we line up along DL Drive. The walk is really short from the staging area, way shorter than WDW. Wheelchairs, A/B/C are in front of the stoplight on DL Drive and then on the other side of the stop light D/E were on one side of the road and F/G are on the other side of the road. F/G move over to the start line side as they move up after D/E go off. I was in the 5600s last year and I think my submitted time was around 2:30. Don't remember what corral I was in though. 2 years ago my submitted time was 2:45 and I was in corral E.

As the previous poster said, and like much of everything else at DLR, the race start area is far more compact than at WDW. A time of 2:45 netted me about the same placement for the DL½ as it did for WDW ½s (about mid field).

Thanks for the replies! I ran 2:39 at the Princess so was just wondering where that would put me. I'm trying to find a local 10k to see if I can improve that time before August.

DH and I got signed up for the DL 1/2 through get It travel. We waited until after the PHM to see how that went so we got to pay a little more for Regis. Got into GC as we like to be right where the action is and so much easier to get to the start as we found out at PHM ! Also couldn't get any military rates as all the DL hotels are showing full...yikes !
Following the flight talk...DH flies for SW and he said landing fees are more expensive at SNA so we are flying into SAN and driving to DL. Not even going to try and non-rev since race weekend is also labor day weekend so expect heavy plane loads and a little higher prices. I might have missed this answer but how many should we expect for the DL half ? PHM seemed insane at 22k plus so hoping DL is less. Let the training resume....bye bye donuts ,
