Hi everyone! Been lurking around the thread for awhile. So excited to run my first half in two weeks!

Just wanted to pop in regarding the medal engraving. On the PHM Facebook group that I'm in, someone said you can prepay at the expo. Then after the race you get to bypass the line! I guess they try to keep that option on the down low so not too many people get upset about people skipping the line. But definitely worth a shot to make your ADR.

Since I was a deferral from 2012 (multiple stress fractures), I haven't been getting the emails from RunDisney at all! Thanks for posting the link so I could find my bib number! I'm starting in corral A from a Half time I submitted a few months ago. I missed out on the Goofy bag--is it worth contacting RunDisney??
Also, I had hip surgery six weeks ago (to repair torn ligaments from a hyster done in June

) and cannot run at all. I will attempt to walk the entire 13.1 without falling out! I am SOOOO looking forward to finally doing this for a long time.

Ran in my costume yesterday- really praying for a cold snap. Like 45 at the start. Cause I am going to sweat bullets!!! It was comfortable, but I got hot fast. I don't like being hot when I run- makes me cranky. Guess I'll be in character the whole race! LOL

I feel your frustration! I have an extremely slight injury compared to what you're dealing with but it's an injury just the same. I hope I can get through 13.1 without the rest of my training. In fact I should be out doing my last long run of 12 miles today. Instead I'm icing and resting

Another fear of mine. With the extra 12+ inches of snow dumped here, I doubt I'll even have a chance to try out my costume before I leave. A least not with layers on top of it!

Fortunately I made it out of tech clothes I was trying out way before winter hit but back then I dont think I'd ever tried more than 4 miles.

I'm really hoping for a 50-60 degree start max. My corral doesn't leave til after 6 and I'd love to get through a good portion of the race in the morning cool.

There were a few ladies wondering if RD was using the right submitted proof of time in calculating corral placement. You might want to log into Active.com to view your registration to see what they have listed. Mine is listed on there with the name of the race and the time I completed it in - I submitted mine about 2 months after I registered. I had a weird glitch with logging in so if you can't access it for some reason, they will send it to you via e-mail as well. I was just trying to find out which Disney Princess I picked for my bib but they sent me my whole entire registration record.

Regarding the Igoodie bag, is there even anything to claim? I don't see anything other than the discount coupons for the Space Coast, shadowboxes, etc.

The temps according to accuweather are lows 51 highs 76 with some clouds some sun conditions. If that holds, I will do a cartwheel. Seriously thrilled with that range. I could go down 5 degrees too. Thank you Mother Nature!
