Looks like the only local races between now and Disney are 5ks, with the exception of a 1/2 marathon this weekend. I could possibly do that one since it's only 1 mile further than my planned run for this weekend. So my question is before I do it, if I do finish in say 2:15, will that guarantee I'll be moved up from my current projected corral placement?

So, I ended up deferring the Marathon as I just wasn't ready. I had a big opportunity to go to grad school, and that took priority over the Marathon. I registered for the Princess, deferred my Marathon, and got my entry fee less $35 dollars put back into my account. Exactly what I expected.
A few days later, I got an email from a different runDisney email address that they needed the form for me to defer. Well, I had already done the form they emailed me, and everything had gone through, so I didn't think twice about it. Then I wondered if they actually canceled my registration, since it would be weird to them to say it was "pending" when I even had my money back. Sure enough, I have a waiver and Bib # 12064 for the Marathon. Do you think they made a mistake and didn't cancel me? Would I be able to pick up the Bib? I have no idea what I would do with it since I'm still not ready for a Marathon, except maybe hand the shirt off to my SIL who is running so she'll have a spare. The thought crossed my mind to get the bib and try it anyway even though I'm only up to 14 miles in training, lol.
