New fantasyland touring plan

Make sure if you want to eat lunch at Be Our Guest you get there early. People start lining up at 9:30am for the 10:30am opening.

So are Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan the first "run to" attractions now? Get a FP or wait for Dumbo after that? Where does Goofy's come in now?

Who has a good plan? I haven't been there yet!

I know at DL it's PP, Dumbo, Alice, etc.
I know at WDW, it USED to be Dumbo, then PP, Winnie the Pooh, etc. Goofy's wasn't until TT opened.

Just wanted to add that if you have the option of a AM EMH at MK that is the perfect time to do Fantasy Land. If it's a busy time, you still want to plan out your time, but even during busy times, this hour is pretty great way to get a lot done here.

I am going in May with my sister and her 2 kids. I am very much looking forward to Fantasyland. It sounds like Storytime with Belle is a must. Has the Perter pan ride changed from years past? What is Be Our Guest about? Would love some comments from people who have been!

I'm not aware of any changes to Peter Pan.

Be Our Guest is a recreation of the Beast's castle, complete with Grand Ballroom and creepy West Wing. It is a very popular restaurant. Odds are that it's already booked for May, but you should watch the dining reservation site to be sure. You do need an ADR to dine there at dinner. But lunch is counter service, so walk-up during the day.

That was a very long line. Is it worth the wait? Is the menu the same for both lunch and dinner? Thanks for the video.

I asked about EMH morning in easywdw a few months ago regarding ETwB and the consensus is doing ETwB on a morning EMH will eat up more time. People line up at 8:40ish for it apparently so the rec from Josh to me was to go on a regular RD day. This eats up that EMH hour and defeats rhe purpose of getting to EMh or RD Etwb. Our NFL plan looks like this:

0900 RD
FP PP
ETwb
Ariel
LM
PP w/ FP
FP Pooh/Dumbo (currently not connected to the system)
Barnstormer standby
Storybrooke circus (characters if we need to kill time)
Dumbo w/ FP
Pooh w/ FP
11-11:30

Our EMH RD day looks like this:
RD 0800
FP PP
LM
Pooh
PP w/ FP
FP Barnstormer & Dumbo (9:30+ return)
Merida Greet (can do FAERIES instead)
Barnstormer w/ FP
Dumbo w/ FP
Storybrooke Circus characters

We will FP town square princesses later in the day, see FAERIES on another RD day or during an afternoon parade.

Also the FAERIES are great to add in on EMH since that are wont open till 9 people can't get in line. We did this before and is do it this way with a little extra walking:
RD 0800
PP (still first because ride capacity sucks)
LM
Pooh
FP Dumbo/Barnstormer
FAERIES
Back to storybrooke circus to use FP

You could squeeze Ariel in somewhere on EMH days if you wanted, but I would do so after Merida or FAERIES.

Lunch at BOG will be long no matter what so is plan on just getting your attractions done first if you can last till after 11am.

There is high probability no matter what you do, ETwB will take you 40min+ even at RD or with EMH. From what I've seen that attraction builds lines immediately.

I didn't realize that Dumbo was not currently on the same FP system. So that means you can get FP for dumbo even if you have FP currently and your next FP window isn't open yet? Are the FP for Dumbo at Dumbo or are they at Philharmagic?

Correct - not to say that hasn't changed or will. Town Hall princesses were like this last year but they've since added them to the system. The FP kiosk are in the back if storybrooke circus in the yellow tent (or at least used to be last fall). If that's changed I'm unaware and it very well could have.

No prob . Easywdw was a gold mine for our previous trip and we waited no longer than 10min for anything last week of may. Although I suspect no matter how you do it ETwB will eat up at least 40min of a morning which is why we're saving it for a third RD morning to make sure we get all our other priorities done first prior to our breaks.

Thanks for the great info! can I ask what "LM" is?
Also, how long was the wait for the Ariel ride after ETWB?
I was thinking to get a FP for Ariel then go to ETWB, then get a FP for PP after my time window was up.
Also, where is Merida and the Fairies located now?

I believe LM = the Little Mermaid ride.

I think Merida is in Belle's old "Enchanted Tales" spot (aka Fairytale Garden)/Rapunzel's meeting spot, at the base of the castle just to the right looking at it from MS. (At least I hope she is because that's where we'll be looking for her in ~2 weeks!) Take the last right before the castle like you're heading to Cosmic Ray's and she's just off to the left.
