PVD Parking
What are your experiences with Providence Green Airport parking? Would prefer to be on site but we are open to satellite parking. Thanks.

We always use PreFlight parking.
https://www.preflightairportparking....FUQw4AodwSoA2w We always print out the coupon as well. They drive right up to your car, help with your bags and off you go. Fairly quick to the terminal. The same going back. The only time we consider using the terminal garage is mid-winter, due to snow. But, others have the same idea...so, we have usually had to clean off the car anyway!! |

We are going on the Fantasy for President's Week. I am worried about the weather also. That why I was thinking the garage(lot b ?) We usually go to MHT where they have cheap, covered parking.

We often drive over the night before our early morning flights and stay at the Sheraton on a park n fly rate. Other hotels also offer a similar deal.
If we do drive over the same day we park in Garage C for the best rates in covered parking. Although we've never used PreFlight parking at PVD, we do use it a BOS very frequently and it works as advertised. Even easier at PVD I'd suspect since its much closer to the airport than at BOS. |

Thanks guys.
I think we will try Lot C. Had a bad experience at Bradley with the shuttle when the kids were little. Total chaos with everyone coming back from President's week vacation!

A lot of the hotels do park and fly too. I've stayed at the Residence Inn a few years ago, and they shuttled me to the airport in the morning. Just have to make sure you book the 'park & fly' rate. http://www.park-and-fly-hotels.com/providence.html has direct links to the rates. I think there are some cheaper options, but the area the Residence Inn was located in looked very secure.

We always use Airport Valet when flying out of Green. Yes there is a shuttle but we've never had an issue with drop off or pick up. Car is ready and warmed up when we return.

I always park in Garage C when I fly out of PVD. It's not too expensive, and it is SO convenient - a simple walk (mostly through garages A and B) to the terminal.

Another vote for Pre-Flight parking. We have used them many many times and never had a problem. Also, we always print out a coupon and save a few bucks.
The shuttles run every few minutes. Most of the time, a bus will follow us as we drive to our parking space! |
