Wedding planning trip advise!
Hi all!!
I'm hoping for a July wedding next year but as I want the escape package I can't book yet and disney aren't particularly helpful over the phone because its so far out! However... I'm from the uk and have just booked a last minute trip to Florida next week! Yay! I haven't been in 6 years but have been to Paris and California a couple of times since!! We're using this trip to try and get a few things sorted, were meeting a photographer, going to see where we would like our dessert party in Epcot and trying all the restaurants were considering for taking our family for a 'reception dinner'. We've also asked disney if we can go and have a quick look at the wedding pavilion, they said to ring once we are in Florida and they will tell us the availability which is fine!! Can anyone think of anything else we can do while we are there which will help us with our wedding next year as we won't be able to go back once we can book out date??! Also I really want the cut out Mickey and Minnie wedding pens (I've collected similar every time I've been to disney) does anyone know where I would be able to get them?? Thanks

Hi! Congrats! Look at this list of venues: http://disneytravelbabble.com/disney...w-venue-photos
Pick out the ones you like and make a point to go see them. You can just walk into most of them -- including the wedding pavilion. As long as there isn't an event happening you can look inside. I just did last week

Also, if you plan on having your hair and makeup done, I'd try to schedule a trial run with the artist you like!

I second that suggestion—especially if you are doing any kind of photo shoot with your photographer, since it will give you an idea of how your makeup and hair will look in pictures.
Another thing some brides do is collect park maps for their guests (like if they're doing welcome bags), Photopass cards, and/or the free pins that say "first visit" or "happily ever after" or whatever. Have a great trip!
