How quickly does the race usually sell out?

I had a setback on my current training, blargh! I got a virus about three weeks ago, and it hung around for a long, LONG time. I wasn't able to run through any of it, because I was just that sick. Yesterday was my first run after starting back, and it felt like I had never run a step before.
I was pouring sweat and puffing after about 15 minutes. It wouldn't be such a major deal, but I'm scheduled to do a mud run next weekend, and a color run the week after that. I guess I'm going to be pouding some serious pavement every day this week.

I cannot fathom a decent reason why/how there would be over 15K entrants registering on the first day. You may not have until July, but it won't fill up like the Dumbo Double Dare or Disneyland Half did. |

![]() I agree! I stopped running in August due to personal reasons & now I just started re-training. I'm like.. 'dang, I hate this!' But my body did remember more quickly than I thought it would after a 6 month break. Still have a long way to go to 'catch' up but it's not as bad as it was when I FIRST started running last year. Course we are talking about still being in the 'first 2 mile' stage. I still have 11.1 more to go! Ha!

That was by far the most frustrating part of running to me. Incremental increases after that just seemed to be so much easier.

During the race, I despise the last two the most. I know I should savor the moments and enjoy the surroundings, but I just want to be done. That's my mental hurdle. |
