Dolphins in Depth
Anyone done this? We leave in 7 days but I'm already thinking about next year. We are going in Oct 2013. My daughter will be 3 weeks shy of 13. Anyone know how strict the age limit is?
My husband and oldest would love this. |

Their age limits are totally inflexible, and they will ask for proof of age. Their insurer requires it. Sorry.

If you have not been to Discovery Cove near Sea World I would highly recommend it. We just returned from celebrating my daughter's 6th birthday at Sea World and Discovery Cove. I was not super impressed with Sea World, but the experience at Discovery Cove had the same kind of magic you find at WDW. You only have to be 6 yrs old to swim with the dolphin. Cost is around $200 per person for the day if you do the dolphin swim. This includes everything, and I mean everything - breakfast and lunch, drinks, snacks, adult beverages, and everything you need. My daughter has been begging to swim with a dolphin since she was 2 yrs old. The day at Discovery Cove was truly magical for our whole family.

I second discovery cove. Meals/drinks/alcohol are included in the price. We spent the whole day chillaxing, swimming, doing the lazy river. You get an assigned dolphin swim time that you need to show up for. It was awesome.
