Disney hotel booking with free dining question?
Ok, so got a question for all you well knowledgeable people out there, I've booked a old key west one bed villa for my family for two weeks next June and have got the free dining which is great, but my sister and her husband have now said they would like to join us which is also great.
We are thinking of adding them to our booking which I believe shouldn't be a problem, think we should just have to buy them their tickets too and that way they will also get the free dining. Where our problem comes in is they want to go and spend some alone time ( not a problem) at bay lake towers for a few nights during the two weeks how do we go about doing that with regards to our booking and their dining plan etc. they will be booking the bay lake towers through dvc and not direct with Disney but they will have their names on two reservations at the same time so wasn't sure what would happen. Will this be a problem and is this against Disney policy? I hope not. We don't want to do anything that's not allowed but at the same time do feel that we will all be staying on site at Disney the whole time so should be entitled to what we are paying for. I hope this makes sense and that someone out there might have some experience with this or some advice as to what we should do. Thanks. |

There will be no problem with having their name on two reservations. Technically, it will be your name on the first reservation, just with them sharing with you (are they planning to stay in the one-bedroom with you?)
If they go and stay at BLT on a room only DVC booking, that shouldn't be a problem at all and, as long as they remain on the first booking, they will still have their dining credits and tickets, they will just have an extra KTTW for their room at BLT (or wherever).

we've stayed in two resorts at the same time multiple times...
we would reserve OKW for 3 weeks and during the 3 weeks we would stay at the yacht club resort every weekend (while still being at OKW)... no problem.

That's brill, just what I was hoping to hear :-).
We are staying in a 1 bedroom but my kids are only 1 and 4 so we are not worried about the size or space issue especially if they do go to blt for a few nights as it will give us all a break :-). Thanks for the quick replay, knew you guys on here would know :-). |
