I love the movie UP and my fiance gave me an Adventure Book when he proposed to me, it had pictures of us in the front and then had a page that said "will you marry me?" So I really wanted an UP theme, but we also decided against it. That's a great way to still bring a little of UP into your wedding!

I bought a dress!!
I just knew it was perfect for me when I tried it on. I was a little nervous about it being too formal for a morning wedding at Sea Breeze Point, but, ultimately, it's a wedding, and I should have an awesome dress, right? ![]() Its a MARISA gown (the designer does no advertising or communications, so I hadn't seen the dress before). Also, I bought the dress ONE week before it was discontinued How lucky!I ordered it in white, but the sample is in ivory. Here's a picture of the crystals on the waist. (It's never to early in the morning for Swarovski crystals, right ) The dress is a little tight around my hips, so try to look past that lolWe also bought suits for Ryan and the groomsmen. My original thought was to get grey suits, but we really liked this navy one. I was surprised at how good the navy looks against the mint ties and BM dresses. Also, unrelated question. To any of you brides who used Beaute Speciale, how early did they come to your room -- especially for a morning wedding? There will be 5 people getting hair done and 2 getting makeup before the 10 a.m. ceremony. I hope they don't have to come too early

Your dress is beautiful!
I used Beaute Speciale for four of us for my Escape wedding at the WP at 10 am. They were at the room at 5:30 am. I wanted to be ready to do pre-ceremony pics with my mom, sister and niece with our photographer starting at 8:30 am.

Love the dress! I originally wanted a more casual dress for SBP but once I tried on dresses, I realized I wanted something more traditional as well! Its your wedding, do what makes you happy! You looked gorgeous!

Your dress is beautiful Jess!
I don't think it's too formal for a morning SBP wedding AT ALL! Good thing you lucked out! I never considered a navy suit but you're right, it goes great with the ties and really suits Ryan. Also I think navy is a great color choice for SBP

The navy has really grown on me The first time Ryan suggested it I poo-pooed the idea, but I think it works well!

Your dress is beautiful! I love the crystals. I wouldn't worry about the dress being formal, it's your wedding day! Navy is great...and it goes with most colors really well.

Ok, I'm all caught up now. You are so on top of things!
I agree with you on Disney's cakes. I was sent the file to look through too and while none of them were bad really none of them were what I am thinking of. I've seen so many amazing cakes from other peoples' weddings, though, that I have no doubt they could pull off anything you want! And CONGRATS on finding you dress! I don't believe your dress can ever be too formal or too informal or too anything really. It's YOUR wedding and the only person who knows what the perfect dress for you is is you! It's b.e.a.utiful! Oh, and it's very possible that I do know your friend. One of my bridesmaids was the colorgaurd captain my last two years Small world! I also like your term "blended family." Lol!

![]() I definitely think Disney should update the cake sheet to include some of the more impressive cakes I've seen from other brides on here! |
