Congrats! I had a SBP/The Attic Wedding on October 1 of this year! The weather and everything was absolutely amazing! In regards to hotel, we actually just stayed in the Boardwalk Villas. It was great, we didn't have any transportation for us and we went to Jellyrolls after and it was easy to have one of our guests run some stuff back to our room. It was very convenient! I also had Beaute do my makeup and while I was a bit shocked to see it when I was done (I don't wear much makeup ever), it looked very natural and pretty in the pictures and I loved my hair! PM me if you have any questions, I'd love to help!

It actually rained the day of my wedding (and dessert party and basically every other day our family was there) and they made sure that our wedding was outside! The welcome/dessert party at EPCOT got moved indoors at the last minute (1.5 hours before) and I was so scared that our ceremony would be inside, but my planner told us that as long as it stopped raining for the 20 minutes we needed, we would be outside. It did and we were able to stay at SBP. Don't worry too much about it!

I like your BM's dress. I think it would be flattering for a variety of body types.

Have you considered buying silk flowers?

You are right about OKW having the biggest 2 bedroom villa, actually they have the biggest 1 bedroom villa also since it was the first DVC resort built. I own DVC points there so if you have any questions at all about it please PM me and I will be happy to help you out! I am therefore a little biased when it comes to OKW I love the theming, the tranquility, one really great thing is you don't feel like you're in a hotel at all. Another thing that's cool is you can often see Epcot's fireworks from your balcony! It's really close to Epcot despite being classed as a Downtown Disney resort. Speaking of, you can also get a boat from OKW to DTD which is awesome.

Having said all that, I think it would be a great idea for you to stay at the Boardwalk since you're getting married there. It might make everything easier on the day and reduce your stress levels. In terms of renting points (which is a great idea by the way, it will save you a TON!) I would use David's DVC Rentals at dvcrequest.com I know a few people who have rented points from there and recommend it. You can also see how many points you'll need for each type of room at each resort and how much that will cost

I'm excited to follow your planning! I'm an October 2013 Bride

I went ahead and booked the DVC points! I booked one night at OKW for the bridal party and the week at Boardwalk. They were out of value views at the BWV already, so I had to go with a preferred view. I'm kinda excited though because we'll get a Boardwalk view that I've always wanted!

I'm jealous that you're a DVC member haha. Maybe one day we will be!

Congrats on your wedding!
Congrats! You'll love being at the Boardwalk, both for the wedding and after for F&W! It's become our favorite resort (granted, we might be a bit biased...).

Yes I am because it was so much cheaper, I know what my flowers will look like on the day and I love having flowers around the house so I'll use them again afterward

That's awesome that you booked your accommodation! I'm sorry they didn't have the view you wanted how crazy, it's still so far out! Well, it's technically my dad's, he owns it but lets us use it thanks for the congratulations, the same to you!

You can have more than 9 people in the 2 bedroom, obviously there won't be enough beds if you mean to actually stay there overnight. If they're just getting ready there then that will be fine, but only the people whose names have been registered as a guest in that room will receive a room key. If you ask for more, they will ask you whose card is lost/doesn't work and inactivate that in order to give you a new one. If you were to say that it was for a 10th person then you would probably get in trouble

I don't think that Disney offer silk flowers, but I'm not 100% sure since I am not having a DFTW (we're getting married at Coronado Springs). There are various different places you can buy silk flowers, depending on the type(s) of flowers that you'd like, this also includes bouts and corsages. Most of these websites have some if not all of their flowers already made into bouquets so you wouldn't have to do that yourself
