Question for you all: when you order from them do they send you a shipping notification? I got nothing at all from them. Not that the order has been processed or shipped. Their website shows the initial order and payment being taken, but nothing since. She said it must have been an "oversight". That's two "oversights" in the past two orders.

Danielle, when I ordered just before the last fiasco you all had, I did not get a shipping notice or a confirmation email from them at all. I just happened to go in and check one day.. said it was still processing... then I checked the mail and the package was in the box... so there "oversight" seems to be habitual!!

Okay girls, we're coming up on the due date here. How is everyone doing? I know Danielle and Rachal had paper issues, but how about the rest of you? We're about 10 days from the mailing date.

For my own update, I'm planning on finishing up Frontierland tomorrow and getting the Railroad started this weekend, to do next Tuesday and Thursday.

I'm probably going to make it on time if everything goes as planned. I have everything, have designed everything. I just need to find the time to cut cut cut. It shoudl be much faster this time as I have the use of both of my arms.

Just giving you my update: I need to figure out my prototype for Country Bears. Titles are all cut out and pieced together, need to figure out embellies and accents. I should be able to get this done over the weekend. I do have the sketch I want to use.

All my other groups are cut out and just need to glue down the title pages and get them bagged and tagged. Kids are going to the grandparents Tuesday and will be gone until Friday so my nights will be free for a couple days next week!!

Okay, here is my prototype for Frontierland. Sorry for the crappy pictures. (The star is acting as a journal box).



I'm not loving the background paper. Not exactly, I like the background paper, but I think the fence is too dark on the background paper. I got it at Jo's, they also had a green and black plaid (which may be just as dark), and another with moose and cabins and trees and bears, with a lighter background - that I was this close to buying instead. I could easily exchange it. What does everyone think?

Also, in the first photo, I only put the shadow of the title, which I think I like more than this with the shadow acting as a mat. What does everyone think?
