Just checked mine and it is $185.84 more. Glad I got in on the "mistaken" prices.

It you booked before the increase be very careful if you make changes later. With our package we have 5 day base tickets, I called yesterday just to get a quote on making the tickets hoppers. $370
more, I asked the cm why so much seeing as a hopper is $57 x 4= $228. She couldn't tell me why I just told her to keep everything the same. There will be no changes for us.

We booked the first day the SPD came out. Last week I decided to upgrade from the regular dining plan to the deluxe dining plan since it's just my husband and I going. I wasn't sure if the price increase ($83 for us) of the package deal would be added to the upgrade cost.
The first CM I spoke with gave me the cost for the upgrade, and it was about $83 more than it should have been. I asked why it was higher than the upgrade cost and she said it must just be taxes. I didn't think so. I said I wanted to think about it more, and hung up. I wasn't satisfied, so I called back. I explained to the next CM what I wanted to do and told her about my previous conversation. I also told her I had heard about the package price increase and that I thought that was the difference. She put me on hold so she could talk to Guest Services. I was on hold for probably 15 minutes. I thought she was just waiting for me to hang up. I was wrong. When she came back on the line, she said I was correct, and that since I had booked at their "incorrect price" I was able to keep it. I was so happy. They said they were honoring the price for those that had booked with it. Just thought I would share. |

I also noticed an increase in our S/P/D package from when I originally checked into the pricing, but just tonight I received an email PIN for free dining for the same dates. The free dining saves me $130 over the S/P D offer....so patience paid off

I booked ours a while back and got it for $2486. When I booked someone else's today, it came out to $2576. However, when I checked their confirmation information online, it shows Special Rate Type: Stay, Play & Dine Offer including Disney Dining Plan while ours doesn't show any Special Rate.
When I was chatting with a rep online, the code I gave them corresponded with the Canadian discounted MYW package with Dining. I wanted to add someone to the room on ours but it comes out to roughly $587 to add them (that's what we get when we phone). When I added this person to the reservation I booked today, it only cost $497. Not sure why there is a price difference of $90 between the two but I was hoping she would have been added to ours for the $497. |
