If the real French Quarter was as peaceful and relaxing as this resort, it would be great to take the occasional family vacation there. Then again, the real FQ is lot more fun and lively.

This was the first time I'd ever seen an elephant on the "road closed" area-I really thought it wasn't supposed to be there!

Cyndi, love it. Yes we did the same on our last trip. My son attempted to pick up the "golf ball"...not my POTD but here is his attempt....

ok, sorry if this is breaking the rules...here is what I intended to be my POTD...I am headed out for the weekend so this can count as my Sat entry if need be :-)
