I received my card Saturday from Patricia (Scrap4me). It's a very lovely handmade card. She sent me some Turkey place cards.

Hi everyone! It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just a little over a week away! The year has disappeared on us.
I want to take a moment and send everyone lots of good wishes for a great Thanksgiving. If you are traveling, be safe! If you are staying home, don't forget to actually turn on the oven for your turkey. (BTDT)

I don't have to host anymore

Which is fine by me, not my favorite meal to prepare.
I handed it over to DDIL last year. I will help, but it will be at her house

I will give her the place cards if she is doing sit down and not buffet style.

This will be a tough thanksgiving for a few reasons.... First one without grandma

. First thanksgiving with celiacs... Or at least knowing I have it and not having to worry about what is going to make me sick. And it looks like it may be my last hosting because we are going to start doing thanksgiving at Disney next year.

I am most concerned about crying most of the day without grandma here. I have been babysitting my twin nephews all weekend and it has been tough thinking about how she won't get to watch them grow up. But she did get to meet them 1 week before she died..... It was all she was waiting for was to meet them.
