Cards are out. I have to hand it to the post office, they are thinking ahead because of the storm. They have postmarked everything with tomorrow's date. Delivery trucks are being delayed here because of the storms, and they said it is possible that normal delivery of 2-3 days make take 5-8...yikes!
We are getting gusting winds of 45 + and it is cold! Becky, you are closer to the coast than I am, how are you doing up there? I know that NC is only catching a glancing blow, but brrrrr!
We have close friends and family in the New England states and they say it is getting dicey..So, for those of you with family and friends in the direct line, say a quick prayer....they are going to need it!

We are good here. The coast took a beating this morning and I know there is a lot of flooding and homes gone but I am about 2 hours inland so we have only gotten rain and wind. Seems to be getting better by the hour. Funny thing is we have Sandy on the coast and then there is a snow storm in the mountains because of this "perfect storm".

I hope everyone stays safe.

I reviewed a very nice homemade card from Patricia today with thanksgiving place cards. Very cool and so pretty. I am not so talented to be able to make my own cards.

I hope everyone is doing ok after Sandy.

Becky, come and join us in making homemade cards. Look for ideas online, and try it. You might surprise yourself, and you won't have to purchase as many cards at the store.

Becky, I am glad to hear it arrived so quickly.
Patsy is right, look online for ideas and jump in with both feet to make cards. Mine tend to be more simple, but there are times when I get very into a card and before you know it, it has several layers, ribbons, brads, eyelets, etc..
I keep cards for my scrapbooks, but the handmade ones tend to stay out for an entire year before I put them in scrapbooks.
And just remember, a mistake is only a mistake in your eyes, to the eyes of someone else it is creativity!
