New Offers/Free Dining Coming?! - Page 2 - The DIS Discussion Forums

I called to book our April 15-20 trip yesterday, and the CM on the phone told me AT LEAST three versions of "Please check the website daily. Discounts for your dates have not been released yet," or "Again, when discounts for your dates are released, please call back so that we can add them," or "Free dining just might be offered for your dates, though LM AoA rooms aren't usually included, so please read the fine print of any discounts that may appear on the website in the coming weeks."

Needless to say, he made it very, very apparent that there would likely be a discount of some sort offered for mid/late April.

Makes me excited!

Squeeee!!! Those are almost our dates too

I know I shouldn't get my hopes up over something not yet confirmed, but it's better than bad news for sure! I mean, they have to give us SOMETHING, right???? I need to make some updates to my ressie anyway... maybe I'll call tomorrow to do that and see if my CM will drop some hints too.

I hope they offer the AP rates soon. I currently have an AP package (no discount). If a GP rate comes out before I would have to convert the package to room only. Which would mean refunding deposit and charging deposit. I am ready to pay in full now but again I don't want to deal with having to go from Package to Room Only and have refund issues. So come on Disney if you want to bank my money now gimme a AP discount soon!!!

FD would be great as it would save us an additional $400 off of the s/p/d offer. Here's hoping!

Yes!!!! April codes are coming!!! I am so ready to book this trip so I'm hoping they have some good discounts. :D

so do they still let you make changes to your reservation when a discount comes out or do you have to make a new reservation?? I know in the past you could but they keep changing things....

the pricing drives me crazy...different rates for weekends, holidays, seasons whatever reason they can think of to get a higher rate....why not just set a rate and get it over with????

I just called 10 minutes an was able to change an existing ressie from SPD to free dining (I got a pin yesterday).

Hi from a fellow Kansas Citian! I got a PIN in my e-mail yesterday and was so excited, but when I went to change my SPD to FD, the CM told me it was for my sister. I have no idea how her offer got to me since I've never been to DW with her. What a let down! Oh well.....Hope you have a great trip!!!

remember tho...if there is a free dining offer then you pay full rack rate on the room. you don't get a discount on room and free dining...
so it doesn't always work out to a better deal. you have to compare with the room/pkg discounts

My mom just got a free dining postcard via snail mail saturday. I received the same offer almost two weeks ago in email.

My e-mail from Hotmail got a pin code on Oct. 10th.
The free dining is for Jan. 2-March 7th. It says for most dates.

A 35% code is For stays most nights
1/2–3/24/13, 4/21–5/22/13 and
8/11–9/28/13.

I guess I will be moving my dates. We were going before my dh convention April 13-16. I think the 21st is a Sunday. This is going to be complicated. I will have to check in and out to start getting the percentage off.
