My kids have been too overwhelmed with school and make up work to even get excited about the trip. Remind me to NEVER plan a trip during the school year again.

It was 65 here yesterday, but then we got a cold front and now it's, well cold.

I've been watching the weather down there in the mornings and even though it has been getting to the upper 70's by the afternoon, the mornings are still very chilly. So I am afraid we are going to be dragging jackets along to the parks no matter what . And of course the 2 days we are planning on staying at the parks late are the 2 coldest days!

It's gonna be interesting!! Just hope that rain goes away!

I took my Mom and my middle DS about the same week in 2010. It was soooo nice to see all the decorations! I just hope you have better weather than we did! Florida had record cold temps when we were there.

I think the week after our trip, it was 80. Go figure.

I've been pretty worried about the weather, but as of yesterday it wasn't looking too bad. So hoping it stays that way!!

Hi Shelly,

About the dragon - it was used at the press event for the grand opening of New Fantasyland this week.

Disney was unclear if the dragon was going to used in the future or if it was just a one time thing for the press.

It does look impressive! I hope it performs in the future.
