Are there any taxes or any other hotel charges...
when you book your reservation or when you check in when using DVC points? Thanks!

No, not if you are using your points for DVC hotel stays (if you would exchange into the Disney collection or use them for a cruise or other exchange, there is a $95 fee).

Hawaii charges a transient room tax if you are staying at Aulani. For all other DVC resorts, there are no additional charges.

If you rent a reservation from an RCI member, there is a $95 fee. But they aren't supposed to rent those either based on RCI rules.
If you have your own RCI points and book DVC, you will pay the fee.
