when to book a car rental?
Typically how long before you vacation does one book a car rental? I've never rented one before, so I have no idea. We are traveling mid-June 2013 in case time of year matters. The plan is to fly into SD for a few days and them drive to DL and stay for a few days. Are we talking a couple weeks, a couple months; something else? Thanks!!

As long as it's cancelable (no credit card hold), book something now! You have nothing to lose except five minutes on the computer. Then see if you can do better. Costco has car rental, try AutoSlash, use your Entertainment book discount if you have one.
