If you are still waiting on a quote, I would encourage you to resubmit. They did have agents affected by the superstorm Sandy. Usually you should always hear within 24-72 hours. And yes, as far as I know they are offering the only discounts for Easter Week right now. Resorts are All Star Sports, Wilderness Lodge and Polynesian. The packages are resort and tickets and are nicely discounted off rack rate. They do not include the dining plan this time around. If you google the agency it is the first one that comes up or you can go to the Tikimans's website and follow the link from there. Hope that helps!

I am hoping if they are offering discounts through an agency, bookings must be a little light. They would not offer anyone discounts if bookings were peak. Hopefully they extend a discount to visa or GP.

Disney isn't offering a discount through Magical Vacations Travel. The agency strategically purchases room blocks from Disney during high season travel dates that are typically blacked out for GP discounts (Easter, Thanksgiving, etc.). When Magical Vacations offers a discount, you can almost bet a better one will not come out. It has nothing to do with light bookings. In fact, it's the opposite. They are just buying in bulk and passing the savings on to their clients at high season times.

so they get a discount for buying in bulk?

I'm hoping to go Easter of 2014. We just got back from a trip during Thanksgiving week. Fun, but crowded, and not as warm as I'd have liked. Still, it was Disney, and thus lovely.

I would be willing to arrive early, like on the last day of a promotion if they offer them NEAR the holiday weeks...

We might take a Spring Break trip. We would be there March 30-April 7. Would love a discount.

I wish the quote I recieved was a value to us. For a family of five it is an increase from the lowest available room -POR. If we were a smaller family we would jump on it.

I think Magical Vacations has a discounted rate for these dates. Ask for Angela she is very helpful
