Just re read it and I have not worked out the math but it says Stay, Play and Dine. Sometimes these are not "true" free dining. This was the sample on the side. Sample pricing for stays most nights 1/2 - 3/7/2013 Value Resort $82 per person, per day SAVE $400 when you buy this 5-night/6-day Magic Your Way room, ticket and Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan package at select Disney Value Resorts. $82 per person per day based on a family of four. Total package price of $1,968. - OR - Moderate Resort $101 per person, per day SAVE $600 when you buy this 5-night/6-day Magic Your Way room, ticket and Disney Dining Plan package at select Disney Moderate Resorts. $101 per person per day based on a family of four. Total package price of $2,429. Prices based on 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 child in a standard room. Number of rooms allocated for these offers is limited. Savings based on non-discounted price for the same package. Tickets valid for one Theme Park per day and must be used within 14 days of first use. No group or other discounts apply. Advanced reservations required. Offer excludes campsites and 3-bedroom villas and is not valid at Disney's Art of Animation Resort-The Little Mermaid Standard Rooms. Disney Visa is NOT doing early Visa free dining bookings. They are doing a room discount and a stay/play/dine package discount that is almost as much as FD.
CMs have said free dining will be out to the public on the 10th. Others think this new deal is replacing free dining. We won't know until the 10th. |

Check out the two deals on the Disney visa site:
http://www.disneyrewards.com/offers The first one is the one that is discounted dining (not free) and will become available for the general public on 10/10. They're calling it "A fantastic vacation for kids of all ages" because adults (ages 10 and up) will pay the kids price for dining and park tickets. For those staying at value resorts (except AofA) you get the QSDP at the kids price, for those at moderate or deluxe resorts you get the regular DP at the kids price. If you choose to upgrade you have to pay the normal upgrade price. There is no dining discount for kids, so how good a deal this is really depends on how many adults in your party. My kids are getting older, so this is a good deal for us. Disney isn't explaining the details on this deal, but there's another thread discussing it: http://www.disboards.com/showthread....t+of+animation and folks agree that this is the discount. |
