I have no idea how this deal works, I just know I am getting the same package as before plus upgraded to a preferred Pop room) and am saving over 200 dollars.

Of course, we aren't sure what the exact deal is yet, are we? Is it a guarantee that this deal will be the same when they open it to the public on Oct 10th?

ok, i am having a bit of a panic attack! lol i want a discount so bad (i can't really afford this trip to begin with, what with all the student loans i'm supposed to be paying back starting in january). i will be anxiously awaiting wednesday. i hear the deals are limited, so now i am stressed about not getting one.
i am really bad at math, people are saying a lot of different things, and this is all speculation right now anyways, but i'm wondering if someone could give me a ballpark number on what i might save. i am booked at POR from feb 2-8. 2 adults, 6 nights, garden view room. 5 day basic park tickets and regular dining plan. i paid $2418 for this package. if i could get the price below $2000 i'd be pretty happy! |

This is clearly not as good a deal as free dining--particularly for folks with more kids under 9. It works for me because my kids are 9, 11 & 14. I've been debating about whether to get the meal plan, as the adult plan for the 11 yr old is a waste, this makes it work out a little better than the room only rate discount, which I'm not even sure I'll get. |

Hello,
I am new here and this is my first post… I was wondering I could pick your brains? I’m trying to send my parents to WDW for a Christmas gift and that last time that they took me was 1987. I was originally thinking of booking the POFQ. I had read on a few websites that it’s smaller and the bus stops there first to pick-up guest and there is a better chance of getting a seat on the bus. Between my mom & dad they have had over 7 foot/ankle surgeries and walking for many hours does becomes an issue. I have seen that Disney really doesn’t discount this resort for some reason. I have a big favor to ask: I do not have a Disney Visa so I’ll have to wait for the GP sale on the Oct 10th. If anyone is calling would you be will to price this package for me? I work in a hospital and would have to take the morning off and try to get thru on a pretty busy day. I’m looking for the POFQ or PORR for Feb 3-7th 2 adults/standard view room/ basic 4 day Magic Your Way tickets. I priced this 1 month ago with the AAA discount for POFQ and it came to $1150.00 ish. I am trying to decide if I would be better booking this way and giving them a $600.00 Disney gift card for dining? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Just Lost |

Any word on blackout dates for this promotion?
Just wondering if the princess 1/2 marathon weekend will be excluded? I hope not!

I think I understand the new deal, based on what others have said, so here goes:If your parents will use the standard dining plan (1 snack, 1 quick service meal, & 1 table service meal for each night of the reservation), then the new deal (available for you to book next week on 10/10) is a much better deal than the AAA discount. Rather than spending $600 on a gift card for dining you can book the standard dining plan for them with Disney for less than $140. You will lose the AAA discount, but based on the Disney website, your room & park ticket price will go up about $120, so you will "save" around $400 from your current plan. (I'm also factoring in $36 total savings on the park ticket price). If your parents won't like the standard dining plan--either b/c they won't like the table service meal or the quick service meal then you might be better off switching resorts and getting the room-only discount. The 30% discount on a "preferred room" (closer to main building and bus spots) at POR, CBR & CSR may end up being less than POFQ. If you decide the meal plan deal isn't for you then you may want to ask the folks at AAA to play with the resort location and the room only discount and see what you get. Or call Disney direct after the deal is released next week--I generally find them very helpful. |

Am I calcuating this right?? Totally confused
![]() We are 3 adults and one child (11 years old) staying for 5 nights (1/2-1/7), 6 days base tickets and either QSDP or regular DP. I've calcuated with the rack-rate and then the kids price for both tickets and dining: Pop Century / Standard Pool View/Wheelchair access, roll-in shower/1 king bed, 1 double bed Rack Rate: $650 Park Tickets kids price: $1040 QSDP kids price: $286,4 = $1976,40 __________________________________ Art of Animation Family Suite / Wheelchair access, roll-in shower/ Rack Rate: $1472 Park Tickets kids price: $1040 QSDP kids price: $286,4 = $2798 __________________________________ Port Orleans FQ/ Standard View/Wheelchair access with tub/ 2 queen beds Rack Rate: $1029 Park Tickets kids price: $1040 Regular DDP kids price: $343,2 = $2412,20 Am I missing something here? ![]() Anyone know if you can just pay $17,16/day for the regular dining plan while staying at a value resort? Haha... Can't wait until 10/10!!!

I just called and got a price for a 2 bedroom savana view villa at AKV - 6 nts., 6 day base tickets, regular dining plan. 3 adults, 4 children. The price I got was $8,251.38. She couldn't tell me the specifics of the discount - just that the Stay/Play/Dine price came to $9478 and the other one came to $8251.38.
She says the rack rate is $10,720. When I looked it up online it only gave me standard view option - no savanna view -- so I can't confirm the rack rate she gave me. The standard view rack rate was $10,146.

When I spoke to a CM yesterday, I do believe that was included in the promotion. I don't think there's many blackout dates- all of January from the 2nd on seemed to be included in the promotion, at least, and I know MLK is usually a blackout date.

I booked the regular Marathon Weekend so I am assuming that the Princess Half Marathon Weekend will be included.
