Best price on Universal and KBF tickets
What is currently the best price on these tickets/ best place to get them? We will only be spending one day at each park. We are going on the assumption that the City Pass isn't worth it for us. We'll reevaluate that if we add more to our itinerary.
Thanks!

If you have a Costco card we got annual passes for Universal for $70 in August. Cheaper than the $80/day and you get a discount maybe 10% off food.
Great deal for us as we'll go again next summer. |

Is that really the best price for Knott's? Has anyone tried AAA? Seen at Costco?

I think the advance purchase price of $34 is the cheapest for Knott's tickets. AAA is 30% off the regular rate, which comes out to $42. Knott's does run a promotion for Toys for Tots where you can get free admission on certain days by bringing a toy worth $15.

Just a note that due to abuse of the Toys for Tots program (people trying to donate used and broken toys), you must now buy the toy from the marketplace at Knott's Berry Farm. But it is still a $15 minimum toy, so it's still the best priced ticket you can get. I just don't want someone spending money on a toy elsewhere and then not being able to donate it.
