I am FINALLY starting to feel better after my surgery! They said it would take at least a year, and I guess they were right!!!

Christmas was wonderful!!! I was able to assist teaching our kid's play at church. We ended up with about 31 kids!!! My DS11 was great in his role. It was his last Christmas one, so I was really proud and kind of sad... Youth group for him after our Spring play.

He also did great in The Nutcracker on Ice.

My DS13 had a couple of LAX tournaments, a parade, and several band and Jazz performances.

Add to that all of us getting a terrible cold and my mom getting some horrible news followed up by some amazing news, and I don't think I've even slept in about 3 months!!! LOL

We were devistated by the doctors telling us my mom had 2 new cancers, but AMAZED when the tumors came back benign!!!! It really was a miracle. She's still got some other things going on that aren't good, but NOT CANCER!!!

So, now things are slowing down (just an audition for DS13 tomorrow), then we are off to the World!!!!

I can't wait.

I'm trying to get our plans in order, but I know I'll be packing at midnight the night before our flight. That's just how it goes with us...

The great news is that I am feeling so much better!!!! I think I'm going to be able to walk around in the parks with no problems.

I never dreamed that would be possible again. I love my doc!!!

How's everyone else doing?

Aiming for a 5 km ride round the velodrome.
