It's been a long day today after working at the California International Marathon this morning.

Hi PiO. My basketball team was working at a water station at the Marathon this morning. I have worked at Marathons in the past and this one was one of the worst marathons that I have worked at. It was so bad today since it was raining most of the morning and we were all soaked.

Well.....it was a WATER station, right?

I hope you're all warmed up now. Was this a paid gig? Usually that sort of stuff here is volunteer.

Yes, it was a water station where we hand out water, powerade etc. to the runners.

I had to get up 5am this morning and worked till 11am. I took a nap and now all warmed. My basketball team volunteered today, but actually we got paid a little, but the money is going to the team equipment.

My DIS Name is from an anime show and it the serial number of the model of a vehicle.

It had to be a logical name. I couldn't work out how to remember all those letters!!!

I didn't like it to be the actual name of the vehicle so I used the serial number. The anime show is called Mobile Suit Gundam.

Yes that is correct. My team was station at the 13 mile mark during the marathon on Fair Oaks Blvd.

I do commend all the runners this morning braving the weather and running this morning. Hope your friends had a great time during the marathon. Thank you Usnuz, I will tell that to my team. There were a lot of runners saying thank you for the drinks and we thanked them back.

How's the ranch tonight?

Busy day/Christmas season/rain/all of our snow is gone. 50s this week, which is BIZARRE for this far North in ... Well, most months. LOL

December! Now I can officially say, "Disney Next Month!!!" Seems like a long wait until Jan 22, but the holidays will fly by. I think I'm starting to burn out on (over) planning. But, today I did figure out that Garden Grocer is a better deal for me than shipping. UPSing snacks and breakfast stuff is a nice idea, but I can't UPS a bottle of wine, and I really have an aversion to week-old bagels.
