"We headed to Captain Cook's on Sunday night for dinner, since my mom LOVES the Aloha Pork Sandwich there, which we both ordered."





"Then breakfast the next morning was at..."



Wolfgang Puck Express





"I ordered the breakfast pizza...






...and mom ordered the waffle."



"Everything was VERY good. Service was pretty terrible here unfortunately. Our food was dropped off and that was the last time we saw our server. This seems to be a trend lately which is a shame since their food is so good!"

Yes, it was pretty good size - plenty to share and make room for dessert! One thing new for us here... notice the plates are now paper plates? They at least tried to make them look fancy with the faux marble look but they are using all paper for the meals. No big deal just an observation.

Whoa...I didn't notice that. They charge $14 for a cheeseburger and they serve it to you on a paper plate???

We also received the first update from a new reporter who arrived yesterday, MichelleWDWfan.


She said, "I went to Landscape of Flavors at AoA to get a Mickey Ganache and decided on an unscheduled lunch."

Here's what Michelle chose...




Tandoori shrimp with Naan, basmati riice, spinach with paneer cheese, and slow-roasted lentils. Also, Mickey ganache for dessert.



Michelle said, "This was a delicious meal. The shrimp was cooked fresh upon ordering. The Mickey ganache was sinful and yummy."





Then Michelle was off to Epcot and the Flower & Garden Festival, which opened yesterday. Here is what she tried...

Dawn sent us her first pics while still on the Magical Express bus en route to POFQ.

First stop DAK for a late lunch at..."

"Dylan had the 1/2 slab of ribs, Jesse [her DH] the rib and chicken combo and I had the smoked chicken salad. We subbed water bottles for desserts. My salad was fresh and crispy and a great lift meal. Love the smoked chicken that is moist and flavorful."








"The ribs were smoky and sweet and Dylan liked the dry rub and said they were just messy enough."

First up this evening is an update from Kerri's (wdwpirates) dinner at...


VIA NAPOLI







Kerri said, "A bread service was brought out with a small plate of olive oil. Our server then added balsamic vinegar in the shape of a Mickey Head!! Unfortunately the blobs of balsamic quickly merged together for some scientific reason or another!"






Arancini - fried risotto balls filled with mozzarella and meat ragu








Calamari Fritti - corn-crusted rings served with spicy tomato sauce


"To start we opted for the Arancini and Calamari. The Arancini was delish. Crisp on the outside and creamy and cheesy on the inside. The accompanying tomato sauce was a perfect compliment. The calamari was perfectly cooked. Nice and tender, not rubbery as it sometimes can be. The tomato sauce accompanying it was topped with some red pepper flake to give it a little zing!"








"For our drinks I went with the white sangria....could have downed a pitcher of this! Awesome!"







"Our main was a large pizza, half pepperoni and half chicken sausage. That chicken sausage was amazing. Great flavor and went very well with the cheese....stood up to the sauce. Same with the pepperoni...this is the real deal stuff. Yum!!"














"Dessert included a chocolate gelato for me. This was amazingly chocolaty and creamy. A nice light end to the meal."







"Jim went with his fav, the tiramisu! I tried a bite and it was great! He did feel that there was too much cocoa powder on top, however."




"This was a fantastic meal!!! We had the best server! His name was Guido and his assistant was Luigi! Both were amazing!!"
