Hi there! I can answer that since I had a bite of the potatoes on Em's plate.

They are boniato potatoes that are slightly sweet but have russet potatoes added to make them less sweet. I hope that makes sense. They were creamy good but I would rather have just a traditional mashed potato.

BTW: Congrats on your weight loss progress and what an awesome trip to look forward to!!

Welcome back Brenda! I was just getting ready to post Emily's final update (yes, I fell a bit behind over the weekend ). Emily did a great job with her updates. So good, in fact, that I discussed some of them with my family last night and will attempt to make some changes to our ADRs today.

And now for Emily & Brenda's final update of their trip, which sadly came to an end on Monday.


As a surprise addition to their Dining schedule and for their last Disney meal, they had lunch at Magic Kingdom's...



The Plaza Restaurant



Here is what they shared...





1/2 share of an Angus Chuck Cheeseburger served on a flour-dusted kaiser roll with cheddar cheese and french fries

"This meal was perfect. We always love it. The meat is seasoned perfectly, and the fries are like nothing else. They're perfectly crispy on the outside all the time. In fact, Constance, the Main Street citizen, recommended them to us."




Then for dessert, they shared this beauty...




Banana Split (without the pineapple sauce)



"This has to be my favorite dessert. One scoop of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry along with two bananas, fudge, strawberry sauce, whipped cream, walnuts, and a cherry on top. Perfection!"

My son and I are going Monday to Disney, he just saw the P&F pic and loved it! Any idea how much the P&F lunch box meal is? I looked on allears and didn't see it on the menu.

Wow. I was thinking I could get about 40 or so points, but I'm in shock for doing only two updates a day due to eating breakfast with stuff I brought from home nearly every day. That is really cool for such a short trip. It was a total blast and I look forward to doing it again.

Thanks, Brenda. I have never heard of a boniato potato, but then again, I am from a little town in Indiana . I love mashed potatoes but I am more of a garlic or cheesy mashed girl.

I really appreciate the comment on my weight loss! I'm so proud of myself for doing well. I have struggled with my weight for most of my life and I have just this year come to the realization that it will be a lifetime thing for me. I'm trying to take it slow and steady. It's great when someone else takes time out to say something complimentary. It really is encouraging.
