2. As a PP mentioned, they are also giving bananas. I did not get one because I have problems with Potassium levels.

3. You cannot grab your own; a CM will give you a handful or two in your bag.

If there is any left in your bag today................... can you tell us what kind of candy you received - types of chocolate (I am a hershey girl), sweet/sour types etc.

i dont remember a top off station when we went (i guess about 4 years ago) but there were a couple times the CM at the stations put our bag in the bins and just swept the candy out that way!

when we were going home we weighed our candy, after getting rid of what we didnt like and what was left after what we ate, we flew home with 10lbs of candy! this was from 2 adults and 2 kids.

We had a few parties where we filled out treat bags twice. Loaded them up once, and then transferred the loot to a backpack, and then refilled it. However, that time they candy was maybe half good stuff, have random hard candy, nickel candy, stuff you don't see much at Halloween. Ended up leaving a full bag worth for mousekeeping.

I do believe that the raisins come out in force when the heat is too hot for chocolate candy. Rather than having everyone's bag be a big sticky mess, they pass out many more raisins.

Yep same here - we went in 2009 - think it was later in Oct about 25th. And as you exited the park, cast members were there in front of the entrance near the turnstiles, giving out loads more treats, as much as you wanted. It was very late at night I recall - after the second parade so guess it was 11pm ish

Just be careful. When we were there I sat my bag down to get a picture taken with a character after the stage show and someone walked off with my bag which was almost full. I was so aggravated. Even though it was just cheap candy it put a damper on the rest of my night.

We have gone down for MNSSHP and F&W with a group of 6 to (this year...)18+ friends/family.
Candy hoarding/begging is a very, very serious bussiness. My max, hoard.., was over 9 pounds one year. I bet my 6'3" little brother which is was and will always be the important thing.
I didn't eat any while there, cause that would lessen the total. And I did use it to hand out at home to our trick or treaters...
The CM's got a big kick out of us teasing each other in line about who was gonna win the candy contest. I think one of them handed me a full bag to put in my backpack.....
This is SERIOUS bussiness people. At least in our group, only passed by who can get throug the most food/wine booths in one day. Which is why I share all the food/wine I buy with a few friends, all I need is a sip and a taste from each booth, for the 3 or 4 days we hit F&W up....

That's funn! We went 10/27/09! I remember because it was my daughter's 6th birthday!
