Totally redid our ADRs. Taking a serious look at breakfast as DD7 doesn't partake in lunch. Now I am thinking I will take off of work on the 18th of Feb to sit here at the computer and attempt to reserve 4 character breakfasts: 1900 Park, Ohana, Tusker House, and Akershu's Royal Hall, 1 character dinner: Garden Grill, plus 50's Prime and Brown Derby.
When I told my girls about the character breakfasts last night they were soooo happy. Now I just have to pull it off. We read the menus off of my phone app "Lines." It has soooo much WDW info and it's free. DD7 is getting upset that the kids food is different, I have reassured her we will share our adult desserts. I know that some children are picky eaters but my kids are not interested in eating their old lunch standard of PB&J at WDW. |

We just returned from Disney (and an awesome NYE) late last night. While doing laundry and sorting through all the mail, I can not stop thinking about another trip. August would be a perfect month for us to go. But, I want to tent camp at Fort Wilderness, and August is HOT! IDK.....

Thanks both of you for responding on the calendar thing! Amtag, the link you posted brings me to the newly designed site where it is showing all park hours for one day at a time. I came across that, but was looking for how it used to be where you could select a date and then it would give you the next 10 days as you scrolled down. Oh well, I know the new site is a work in progress so maybe it will come along. If not, I can always check day-by-day. Thanks again for the replies! Edited to say: dummy, NOW I see the little icon for multi-quoting; how have I never noticed it before!?

Can't believe that I am this excited to be able to say that we have exactly 7 months until our trip to Disney! Can't wait until park hours come out in a couple of weeks. I have my initial plans done, but I want to make sure that everything fits.

I am so excited! My PhotoPass+ voucher and stock photo CD came in the mail today
I know I ordered it WAY early, but everything I was reading had it listed at $199 reg. price, $169 pre-order, and I saw it for $149, so I figured why not just grab it now and it's one less thing I need to pay for in August. Off to check out the stock photo CD

We are so excited....2 more days until we can book our resort with our DVC. Hoping to get Boardwalk for 8 nights for August 7-15. Our annual passes expire Aug 15. We just upgraded them to premium passes for no additional fee with a DVC incentive. I think we'll really love the water parks in August! The boys had a blast last week!

Will this indecision stop once we finally book our trip??
O-M-G... kids and hubby making me crazy with planning (did I really say last week that I was happy that they were going to be helping organize this trip? - LOL!) So, after pricing and looking at plans with the family, it is nearly unanimous that everyone wants to go back to POR and not BWI... Still looking to book August 3rd - 9th (7 days) with PH&WPM and QSDP.

Can't wait! We're bouncing back August 22-31, staying at the Beach Club for the first time. (Will miss Port Orleans, but excited to try somewhere new!

Back after long time away from WDW (4 years!)
We are hoping to book a trip for 8/24 - 9/1, staying once again at POR. Haven't done much planning yet (and have not purchased airfare or booked a room yet). Looking forward to returning to WDW after what will be 4 years (took some time off to cruise a few times with the kids and threw in a few job changes in there!).
Alot of things have changed since the last time I planned - like the ADR's now being 180 days out - I don't remember that being the case last time. Am hoping to get the free DP again this time (have received it 2x in the past) but won't be devastated if we don't get it. Can't wait to see Fantasyland but fear I will miss not seeing Dumbo right away after coming through the castle - been a tradition for us to hurry to Dumbo and ride that first. Not sure if that makes sense to do any more? Oldest DD will be turning 16 when we are there so I am looking for ideas of how to make the day extra special for her (without packing a suitcase full of decorations). She's already picked MK for the day and CP to eat, so she's taking some of the planning off me already!
