Joining the August planning crew! Haven't been to WDW since 2008 at POR. We did do an August trip to DLR in 2010 (honestly DLR is a must do IMHO). As a household with 2 teachers we are pretty much restricted to travel in the summer months. I know it will be hot - but we had many 100+ days this summer so I'm looking at that as training.
![]() Dates are not yet set and neither is where we are staying. If we stay a week, it will probably not be onsite, and if there is not free dining, it will definitely be offsite. It's tough and I don't want to wait too long to book something. Looking forward to the planning process! We've missed WDW and this will be the first year all members of the family will meet all height restrictions. Space Mountain, here I come!

We also went in Jan for dgd's 1st trip and thought we would go again in a few yrs. we went back in Sept for MNSSHP and booked BB for next Aug ![]() Disney is very addictive and with the deals and budgeting we were able to do this. We cut out some of our weekend trips, don't eat out as often etc. We also know some trips we will stay moderate or more nights and others we will stay value or less nights. I love free dining and reward points! |

And THEN, they want me to ALSO roast the pumpkin seeds for them?!!? My kids- can't live WITH 'EM, can't SELL'EM!!Happy Friday Team!!!

Well, I'm one of those Moms who love to carve pumpkins, but no one in my house wants to with me. It's a sad, sad Halloween......
![]() Ok fine, it's not sad, but Victoria NEVER wanted to carve pumpkins, so I usually don't bother, but I do have my "graveyard" decorations up on the front lawn!!

Don't worry about spelling my name wrong....happens all the time! The people who owe child support that I collect from call me worse names.....believe me...
Now, are your curtains as cute as MY rooster???

Oh, thank you. His name is Roo and I just him love to death!!!
Yep, as for child support I could really tell some stories!! Today I actually had the non-custodial parent sending me an invoice to pay for their copies of their receipts. An invoice? Really? Um, look, if you want credit, provide the copies, other than that it's TOO BAD, SO SAD!!!

On a second sad note I heard today that the CG will not reopen from the refurbish until the END of August. :-( What a sad day!! A big old storm AND no wishes from the top of the contemporary. I want August :-) |

Hi all! Can I join?
I will be at BLT from August 25-30, 2013 for a mother/daughter trip. My kids are 14 and 18 so my dd will be back at college and my ds and dh really don't care if they went or not ![]() We stayed at BWVs this past August/September for 9 nights and my mother and I were there 5 nights before the guys came and my mother and I had a wonderful time, especially before they came ![]() We are going to book the Behind the Scenes Tour for one day and looking forward to doing that. We have done KTTK and did the Segways in Epcot in August. Hope all will be safe during the storm. I live in SI, NY and the wind is really now picking up. My dd is in PA in college so worried about her but they should be OK. I too was saddened to see that CG will be closed during our stay but glad we have the monorail handy so will book ADRs at the monorail resorts, with the exception of a MK day where I want to eat at BOG. So karensi (my mom) and I (js) will be at BLT from August 25-30. We already booked our air on United so just need our ADRs and set ![]() Thank you for including us in your post. I hope I can find it again since I followed a link to get here
