So after great help on these boards as always, I finally booked the Poly Club Lvl for 5 nights in December!
I have been to the Poly before and Disney a few times, but never when they are decked out for the holidays (Usually Summer). I'm sure it will be awesome. **Plus while my gf knows we are going back to Disney, I kept the club level as a surprise/early Christmas gift!!** ![]() ![]() ![]() Now to look into those restaurants - I just wish the vacation could come tomorrow!!! |

We're going December 19-24. I'm excited, but nervous. I'm afraid it will be more packed than I had imagined!!!

You'll probably be OK with crowds until the 22nd. After that it's a solid 10 out of 10 until after New Year's Day. Actually between Christmas Day and New Year's Day it's even possibly more crowded, with the parks closing due to the massive amounts of people in them!

We are booked from Dec 13th to the 19th so from what I read the parks should be light?? This is the first time for my girls for christmas. Can anyone recommend things to do or what to see? Never saw the Osbourne lights so we are excited to go and see them. My youngest dd is turning 9 in November and she doesnt know we are going we decided not to tell her til the early morning of the 13th so cant wait to see her reaction. she talks about going back to see Mickey alot.

So now that our trip ended a few days ago I figured it was time to follow-up. As a whole, the vacation was awesome...everything we could have imagined during Christmas time and then some.
From drinking/eating around the world in Epcot, taking part in the Christmas festivities at each park, and spending time by the Poly lounge and beach, the trip was fantastic. The concierge staff at the Poly were very helpful and we loved the lounge access. The Christmas Party, Osborne Lights, and Illuminations were all terrific. We loved all of our ADR's, including Be Our Guest, Biergarten, Via Napoli, the Dessert Party, and Crystal Palace. If anyone needs further info about any of these please feel free to ask. I think I'm ready to start early planning for another trip during the same time next year (Thinking GF as we haven't tried their lounge yet)! |
