That's because you booked a package through the travel agency. Their change fees are the main reason we suggest booking your stuff separately through Loews and buying your tickets through undercovertourist.com or directly through universalorlando.com
You've really got to read the find print when you book through an agency. Booking directly through Loews would allow you to make any changes free of charge until 5 days before you leave. |

They state that there will be charges for changes made after a certain date. Revision Fees: Once deposit and/or full payment is received, a $50 revision fee per transaction, plus any applicable services fees or price increases, will be assessed for any changes made to the reservation including, but not limited to, dates, air carrier, hotel, and ground transportation. If your vacation includes airline reservations, air change fees apply, plus a $50 per reservation revision fee and any other fees or price increases imposed by the airline will be charged. Fees are non-refundable. Certain types of airline reservation changes, including name changes, are prohibited based upon restrictions imposed by the carrier. |

The problem has arisen because you have booked a package. The hotel needs to be booked through Loews and the tickets need to be booked through Universal. So the travel agency does the running around and booked everything separately for you. That is why they charge the change fee. At Disney, it is just one large company that can do everything at one time. |

and if you book a package thru disney travel company you will be hit with a fee if you make changes 45 days prior to your trip.
you can make increases on the motherland package without a fee but everything else you change incurs fees too. always read the links a travel company gives you. you posted sometime back that UO travel waived a fee for you when you made the first changes. have you made more changes again? http://disboards.com/showthread.php?...6#post45629356

there is no charge for them to email you the bill.
for future trips, book your hotel room on the UO website or thru Loews. buy your tickets at the UO website or another ticket vendor.

You can use the internet too. Just go to www.loewshotels.com to book your room and www.undercovertourist.com to book your tickets. That should give you the cheapest vacation. I'm so sorry you have had an unsatisfactory experience. Universal really is a wonderful, wonderful place. |
