Characters?

Does anyone know what charcters you can meet? I know there are all the princesses, and micky and the gang, but are there more obscure characters like merlin or the cats from aristocats? And which characters can talk and which just mime? If you dont know, can you direct me to where to find out? I checked the disney planning site with no luck.

When is your trip - there are lots of changes happening over the next 6 months so keep that in mind for your planning.

In that case, I'd expect over a quarter of the character info to change. Here is what Disney has announced:

This fall
Periwinkle joins Tinker Bell's Nook
New Belle M&G at MK
New Ariel M&G at MK
Pete's Silly Sideshow with Minnie, Daisy, Donald, and Goofy at MK
Ralph at DHS

Unknown
Beastly Bazaar opens at DAK

Next fall (2013)
New Princess Hall for Cindy, Rapunzel, Aurora, etc at MK



Here are rumored changes that Disney hasn't commented on:

Beast leaving Epcot, going to Be Our Guest Restaurant at MK
Marie leaving Epcot, going to Main Street MK
Mrs Incredible leaving DHS
Gaston joining MK lineup

Chip & Dale relocating from Tomorrowland to Frontierland
Camp M/M closing and characters relocating at DAK
Winnie the Pooh and friends leaving DAK
Character Spot being remodeled at EC

Handled very well there Berlioz. I've also heard Donald would be reduced to one meet area at epcot. Heard that Hook MIGHT return to MK. There is indeed other rumors, but I haven't been given clearance to share everything I've heard yet.

Does anyone have any info. on Pocahontas? Since they're supposed to be relocating characters from Camp Minnie Mickey, where will she go? I wish AK weren't the only place to meet her

Every time I have seen her, it has been at the conservation station, don't know if she's still there though

She's in Camp Minnie Mickey only now.

Stick with Brenna and Kenny and you have Disney characters covered about as best as can be. Both are great...and together, no stone unturned.

Peter Pan, Hook, Smee are by Pirates of Carribean in MK; Mary Poppins is usually in the Front of MK by town hall along with Pinocchio and Gephetto; We've seen Dopey in EP; and Buzz, Woodey, Green Army Men and Jessie at HS. The fairy godmother; evil step sisters and step mom in the back of the castle. Who else are you looking for? Hope that helps..

The websites mentioned are the best. If you have a smart phone, you can download the two official disney parks apps and they also tell you who is scheduled to be out and about. The apps are not very inclusive though, so they tend to miss a lot of characters.

Peter was moved to the entrance of Adventureland earlier this year.

Hook, Smee, Pinocchio, and Geppetto have all left MK.

Dopey used to be regular with Snow, but is now a random character.

Jessie used to be regular at Studios, but is now at MK with random appearances at Studios.

Info on Poppins, Woody, Buzz, GAM, Godmother, and Tremaines is still accurate!
