Oh no! I've about slipped off the first page of Planning Journals- I must keep up!
Well, we leave tomorrow for a chiropractic seminar in Orlando, and we are going to have our menu tasting on Thursday at the Boardwalk. We are so lucky that one of my bridesmaids (Rhonda) will be able to drive down from Daytona Beach to go with us! The base for our buffet is the Cinderella glass coach. Definitely hope to have all of that worked out after the tasting. We are going to attempt to do a 3 park mad dash before and after the tasting session on Thursday and the other park on Sunday before we leave and take a bunch of pictures in front of and on different rides. We will use these at our tables, as each table will be a ride, with Fastpass cards being the escort cards. We have decided to use Reverend Tim Herring as our officiant. We want a Catholic style ceremony, and love that he offers that. We are also pretty much set on Trinity Wedding Cinema for the film. Oh and I have two wedding dress shopping appointments scheduled- Feb 10 and Feb 23. Oh boy!

Definitely something you need to do as a once in a lifetime experience! Quote:
Oh man, now I just remembered about the website I posted- I guess there goes my afternoon! Your cross idea sounds beautiful! Quote:
Thank you! I'm in love with them. The Arndt's are great! Quote:
Thank you! It was definitely a trip to be spoiled on, but it was back to reality really quick. My parents certainly have blessed us with so many opportunities and wonderful days.

I had Cinderallas Glass Coach as my basis for dinner and it was delicious! I swapped some stuff out but everything was amazing!

Well, not too much time to post right now, but here are some updates.
- We had our menu tasting at the Boardwalk. It went really well, and Disney is very accommodating considering we have some really healthy eaters in our group (like 50% of my guest list are Maximized Living doctors who eat very healthy.) Our chef was so knowledgable about his food and ingredients and gave us so many ideas. - We got our initial BEO. Don't ever open that email while you're driving. There are just a few things we are going to change up, and then we should be all set. I have a call with my planner next Friday to go over these changes. - I go dress shopping this Sunday with my mom! We have appointments at Alfred Angelo and David's Bridal. I've gone through their websites and saved my favorites that I wanted to try on. I hope we buy a dress this weekend and then when I go home in February, I will go bridesmaid dress shopping with my sister so we can get that handled. - We went ahead about booked Trinity Wedding Cinema for our videography. Very excited about that.

Anybody interested in seeing a BEO for 150 people?
Also, we are officially moved to Italy for our DP because of the large group size. When we were in EPCOT a few weeks ago, one was set up and the CM making sure nobody went in (this was before it started) let us go behind the ropes and see what it looked like. I'm IN LOVE.

I can see why you said to never open that when you're driving! I also stick by my Facebook comment that you should've kept on going to the liquor store! That is definitely a hefty BEO.
The videographers you booked have amazing videos, from what I have seen with other DISbrides. Are you using the Arndt's for your wedding too...can't remember! Good luck dress shopping. I am going this week too, and I also have pictures of what I want to try. I think it helps to have an idea to start with. Can't wait to see what you pick

Yea, I should have done that. Part of me doesn't want to post it because it's so much, but I know it helps people see. I had a hard time finding BEO's of large groups when we were in the planning stages. We are still cutting some stuff, and massaging up the menus a bit. My guests are going to leave looking like stuffed sausages lol. ![]() I do have the Arndt's and I love them so much. We've only seen the sneak peek of our engagement photos, and just fell in love with the pics. They did a really great job of making us feel comfortable in front of the cameras, and it definitely shows in the photos. I like them so much that I wish they were just guests at our wedding instead lol. Where are you going shopping? I've done the "Add to Favorites" thing on both David's Bridal and Alfred Angelo's website, and am printing those out to bring in with me. Plus it's the Cinderella trunk show at the AA in Houston this weekend, so I hope to try those on as well! Good luck to you as well, I'm sure you'll find something amazingly beautiful!

I did the save to favorites too. I'm going to David's but I am not really sure if I am buying right then and there. I didn't see anything that blew me away, so I thought maybe seeing them in person would help. But then it could be there is a dress in my PJ that I have had my heart set on since we got engaged. It's a Demetrios dress in the Cosmobella line. I am going to a trunk show on March 1st for it. If I have no luck with that dress, I'm going to AA. With AA, I love the Rapunzel dress. The blue dresses are so pretty. I'm so jealous you get to try them

Good mornings, ladies! Let's see if I can answer these before I have to head to my clinic.

I hope to get a dress this weekend because I live away from my parents, so it's not the easiest thing in the world to get us together (especially with my new clinic and I'm trying to build it right now). The Rapunzel dress is very beautiful! If I get one of the Cinderella diamond dresses, I'd be ordering it in white- I don't think I could do the blue, although my mom loves it. I've just always seen me in white for my wedding day. Will do. It actually came in about 4k higher than what I posted, but I took some stuff out when I posted it here. We were getting nervous about our rehearsal dinner being too large for Ohana's, so we inquired about availability of the GF marina to do a private catered event, and they threw that in there. I also took out the tacky tourists, which were $1800! We still have a lot of work to do with our planner, and we're going to see about prepaying for less drinks because we're not big drinkers, and also cutting down the size of the dessert party some.

Your meal looks WONDERFUL! Maybe I will sneak in for some snacks before I head over to my party
No one will notice if I'm wearing my dress right?! Everything looks great! I know that there was probably a lot of sticker shock, but it really looks like you are getting a lot of bang for your buck! I can't wait to see how everything comes together!
