How often do you watch your Disney movie collection?
I have a fairly comprehensive collection of Disney dvds and blu-ray discs and I watch at least a couple of them a week. It averages out that I watch most of the discs about once per year. I also find that while I enjoy modern day Disney films, most of my favorites are from the 50s and earlier.
If you have a big stack of Disney movies how often do you watch them? Do you have just a handful of favorites while the others collect dust?

My college age DD and I watch Disney movies at random and in spurts.
Over this summer we watched Fox and the Hound, Cinderella, Monsters, Inc. all of the 101 Dalmations ( animated and newer).

BTW, This week I watched Bedknobs & Broomsticks. With all the potential that movie had, it looks like a second rate Mary Poppins. The music, the acting, the sets, the animation...almost looks like knock-off stuff from another company. Maybe that's not a fair comparison in that Mary Poppins is one of the all time best movies from any company.

My daughter is three and can now sit still through a whole film. I'm really enjoying digging some of the classics out and we are slowly getting through them at a rate of about one per week. Some of them I have not watched in years. However we have to watch Tangled at least once a week as it is DD's favourite.

it varies
sometimes we watch the movies and shows every day, sometimes we skip a few months and just watch the disney channel.
You never know what will make an impact with them. I have all the discs from all 9 waves of the Disney Treasures collection, and over the years I have played them for my kids and grandkids now. Last week, my 7 year old granddaughter (who we are raising) asked to watch the 'show with the skulls'. It took a minute to figure out she meant the collection of the old 'Hardy Boy' TV shows on the collection, which she saw perhaps when she was 5 or so. So today it is back on, show 1 episode 1, after school and before halloween tonight. I love the old Disney TV shows and hope they put out more in the future. -Shawn

Our DGD is just 14 months old, but we'll def. be watching Disney movies by this time next year. Very much looking forward to it. I watched the Hardy Boys set over the summer, my favorite part is the theme song "Gold Dubloons and Pieces of Eight".

Yes, it's a very catchy theme song which gave us the chance to educate her about gold dubloons and pieces-of-eight

Our VHS player broke so we are trying to build our Disney classics collection again on DVD/Blu Ray for our 2 year old DD. But we watch at least 3 or 4 Disney movies a week. She would much rather watch a Disney movie than TV, which is totally fine with me!

I watch mine often, but I have a BUNCH of Disney VHS tapes, even ones from when I was a kid.

Daily. I am always going to sleep watching one of my Disney DVDs or Blu Rays. Occasionally there will be another movie, such as the Universal version of Peter Pan, but I honestly don't own many movies that AREN'T Disney.
For example, now I am watching Disney's Peter Pan, which was re-released today. Last night I watched African Cats. The night before that The Lion King. It varies.

Well JGH you're getting your money's worth out of your video purchases!
It still find there are little things that I've never noticed or have forgotten about every time I watch these movies. Just picked up the Treasure Planet blu-ray and the video/audio is spectacular.
