Maybe everyone know this... Lego stores have a promo right now that if you spend $75 you get a coupon for a free child ticket with purchase of an adult. Actually, all you need is the website and you can order them without said purchase. You have to order one at a time, but I had no trouble ordering one at a time for my husband and me and our 2 kids. Here's the info:

Legoland.com/legostorepromotion. I have a promo code of 129910 but I didn't need to use it. You have to pick the ticket you want: either the park plus waterpark, or the park plus sealife exhibits. I think it was $89 for the adult ticket. This offer is only good through 8/31, and the tickets are good through 12/31.

I also have the original coupons, which you can take to the window and buy live, till 12/31. I have 3 of these, and 4 more from Lego magazine that are the same offer, good till 12/31 at the gate. I will be happy to mail them to anyone who wants to PM me their info!

Just looked closer at my purchased tickets and the expiration date on them is actually 368 days from now. So as long as you order by 8/31 with that site you should have lots of time to play!
