So I went to pick up my 15-yo daughter from camp today. On the way home I said to her "I really don't think you want to do this, and as I understand it's pretty much only going to be adults and no teen-agers there, but I'm going to a DIS meet in NY next Friday and I figured I'd at least give you the option of going" - hard sell, eh?

Well, much to my surprise she said she wants to go! And I really sort of tried to talk her out of it but all she said was "Yeah! That sounds fun!" So I sent "She's a Pirate" a PM to let her know. I'm so proud... she's such a geek... she really takes after me...

I wish my 14 year old sister could have come. I'm sure they would have gotten along well with both being Disney nerds!

I talked to my daughter last night & told her about the Meet & the fundraiser for GKTW. I didn't think she'd be interested in going with me (she's not a Disneyaholic like I am LOL) but she liked what I was telling her about GKTW & so she's decided to attend with me.

So I am a +1.

One week from now we will be arriving in NYC via train to meet y'all.

Stuff for our basket is bought (except maybe one extra item) and fudge needs made (Thursday night).

Can't wait, it'll be a great time.

Is it too late to join in on the fun? I'd love to come if there's still room

I love Trattoria Trecolori. I've been there several times when going to see shows in the city, most recently last weekend. The food is always good

Looking forward to seeing everyone next week hopefully

Seems like we are in the exact same boat, Ginamarie. Work has been so hard!
